OH MAN O MAN I love these old engines .THey make you smile just to see them work so well. These engines make thier own music . just like listers and rider ericson sterilng engines. They last forever it seems when taken care of by someone with heart and brains ....MUDDDY ONE
It certianly has oil, but it is not a closed-crankcase system like modern engines. Instead, oil is fed to the bearings slowly, in a once-through style.

Very simple engine; the most complex part of the whole thing is the igniter.
