The mom might take an hour to drive there from work! You get the child out of the room, by force if necessary, and sit her with security. To do otherwise is letting her whims outweigh the rights of everyone else in the area.
I've drug a 7-year-old out of a room before. Better that than hold the 30-some adults hostage while I try to reason with a child who is, LITERALLY, "un-reason-able." That's what a tantrum IS.
