although it was never explained that marshall strickland was shot by tannon in the old west, if you ever watched the trilogy dvd of the third movie, the only real deleted scene shows strickland getting killed by tannon, that was why the other sheriff arrested tannon's crew at the end of the movie.

the "redbox" is gettin big down here in the south. its basically a drink machine that gives out movies. u swipe your card, pick what movie they have in the box that you feel like seeing and it spits it out. price is 1 dollar a day and if you dont return it after 25 days its basically yours cuz they take out 1 dollar off your card for each day. also the movie gallery in my down closed down of course. as well as blockbuster in the town next to us. Everything is going online now

@ratnick Over here in Philly, I live close to a West Coast Video store that's still in business, even after our Hollywood Videos and Blockbuster got closedown and the old AMC theater got torndown about three years ago. The Blockbusters is now a MovieStop (like a GameStop but with movies) and there's now a Target were the old theater was. The Hollywood Video store is still empty, no one has used it for a new shop in a few years. How that West Coast Video store is still running is a mystery to me.

But like BlockBuster they are loosing stores hand over fist to the smaller providers like Redbox, which are just little kiosk machines about the size of phone booths that can be found in most Walgreens or grocery stores.

Marshal Strickland actually was shot by Tannan in the movie but the scene was cut out and put in the deleted scenes. So it did happen.

Actually Tanen killing the marshall is a deleted scene, it is fully filmed, it happen when Tanen was otw back to town for the duel. They removed the scene for they didn't want people to want Tanen killed by Marty.
