...and that is why hardly anybody went and saw the movie when it first came out in 1998. If you didn't know anything about the Big Lebowski and you saw that picture, I can't see any reason why you would go see it.

Nothing in that trailer tells me, "go see this movie".

Bad marketing clearly didn't help the movie out much.

That doesn't change the fact though that hind sight has shown this is one of the best comedies ever.

Gotta love this classic. Most movies are only good for watching one time but TBL is totally opposite.
