I'm a Chicago Blackhawks fan, always have & always will, but, as far as them getting eliminated & so-on & seeing new blood holding the cup, I was glad to see the Boston Bruins win it, all, primarily because I was rooting for them after hearing that they're one of my select few secondary teams & also the fact that they faced the team that eliminated the Blackhawks, in the first place, the Vancouver Canuks.

Teams like Chicago, Calgary, Boston, Tampa Bay, Nashville play the game the way it should be played. Speed, skill, great goaltending, tough as nails. Vancouver's a cheapshotting, diving, finger biting team that's as soft as Charmin. First time you punch em in the face they fold.

Secretly I like the Hawks too despite being a Wings fan because my dad has always liked them and seeing him jump up and down in the living room when they won it was priceless. He and my brother as Hawks fans have waited along time to finally hoist the Cup and I had to feel good for them because they really do represent the Central division well. I was more than happy to root for them after we dropped out to San Jose. It was their year.

We have Hudler coming back from Russia, Bert's signed back on, we've aquired Modano, Lids, Homer, Drapes and the gang have resigned as has Meech and Abdelkader so the Wings should have a great season and possibly be in the 1st or 2nd place spot come playoff time! I'm really confident about their season this year!
