Going through my BHFER emails, I found photos of a skinny, scared colt arriving at the rescue in the backseat of a van. It was Aug. 15, 2009. Among his first words to Theresa: “I’ve never had so many hugs and scratches – I could get used to this!” Three days later Baby Ray was ready to learn the "June Bug jump" from his new goat pal. Two days after that he was reunited with a special mare named Sunshine, to whom he said: "I love you mommy.”
PLEASE take special care of Baby Ray. Many of us remember when he first came to Beauty's Haven and the challenges he faced. He is loved by many. Cherish every moment with this special boy.

I remember when he first arrived at Beauty's Haven, i have a horse shoe with his and his mom's photo in it. I am so happy he has a home--- thank you for loving him!
