I would rather take ten airsoft BBs before one paintball, and rushing works awsome. IF your not a wuss you russ people, I don't mean bum rush and just charge someone, i mean flank and manuever up on someone. it works great. My apex barrel which puts backspin on paintball, could easily reach 100 feet. Paintball cqb is far more painfull and we do have fully autos also. I know some fields that have abandoned buildings to play in. Always ends in lots of pain. P aintball cqb involves more pain
You can argue which is better/more intense/whatever out of airsoft and paintball until forever and the end. But it will never solve anything or come to any resolution. Airsoft and paintball have there advantages and disadvantages.

yes but is it more realistic? no. Paintball is more intense because rather than being tactical its people randomly rushing up and popping out of cover. Iboth play woodsball and airsoft. People who play paintball will rush out in the open A LOT. Airsoft isn't as intense because people don't want to walk into a stream of fully automatic fire. Woodsball is also in more enclosed spaces 25-50 feet away so that contributes. Airsoft skirmishes can have engagements as much usually 100 feet away or more
Whether paintball is better or not is based on preference. If you prefer realism go with airsoft. If you prefer fast paced games go with paintball. Ever see airsoft cqb? It's very intense. Airsoft is just as intense as woodsball (not speedball) if airsoft would be played at closer ranges. it would actually be more intense because we actually get full auto on our guns but no one plays at that close of a range in airsoft because no one who has a good tactic would rush up to that close of a range.

I think there is a lot of diffrence between airsoft in the USA and in germany. here in germany we dont need to have orange tips at the end of the barrel and we havent got cheap gun. and here are many shops in which we get our guns repaired for free as long as we live. Most airsofters were hard-core paintballers. There not pussies. Just ask the guys in the coast guard or law enforcement who train with them for cqb.....with 500fps...that leaves a black dot with a large bruise on ur body.

Actually now a majority of the special forces are using air soft because of the realistic gun and features of the guns. Air soft is not a pussy hobby. I mean you're playing with guns that have higher ROF than even a high end paintball gun, and a much greater FPS
I am an airsofter, but i am not to afraid to paint. i have been paintballing a few times and used a tipmann 98. it was fun and left big welts =D, buti have to say though that airsoft has been much more fun for me. oh and dont be callin airsofters pussies cuz it is not pussy. i myself have gotten numerous bleeding welts and have seen people lose teeth to pellets so sthu.
BTW guys, Most airsofters are smart enough to call hits, because if they are caught cheating the almost always will be sent home, or not allowed to play anymore, so it's not worth the risk.

very good video. Some people think eye protection is not really necessary ("whats the chances of getting hit in the eye?") but I can tell you it is. A guy that played with us would never wear anything and sure enough one day he got hit in the eye in some other game and got a detached retina and scratched up eye.
haha I have something about that... I was just shooting my gun for fun in my basement. I was just leaning against the side of a door and I shot the wall about 20-25 feet away. The bb bounces back and hits me in the eye. It hurt like a bitch but no damage because It wasnt going to fast.

1. with paintball you can tell if they are out cuz the paint is clearly seen. i'm not calling all airsofters cheaters, i'm just saying its a hellofa lot harder to cheat with a 6 inch pink mark on your stomach
2. sometimes in airsoft if the adrenaline is pumping, you don't feel it and you can be accused of cheating, even if you really didn't feel it
If someone doesn't call thier hit you just fire more at them, its hard not to notice you're being hit when dozens of rounds are bouncing off you :p. Usually if someone is accused of cheating and claims not to have felt the hit then they will get the benefit of the doubt a couple of times but then if they continue to do it will be formally warned for cheating. I don't know whether you play speed of woods/scenario and whether its the same, but often players in speedball will try to wipe hits.
Is that fact or speculation? Look, if airsoft didn't work, then it wouldn't be played as much or on the scale that it is. Check out Airsoft Operation Irene. Airsoft is not SUPPOSED to hurt. As long as you know you were hit, that is enough. It is a game of honesty and integrity.
I enjoy airsoft although I've only been in one war it was a lot of fun, nice video.

My friend's RA-TECH M4 has an actual bolt that is thrown back through a gas mechanism and creates a near-realistic kick.

I spent $800 on my last kit, and my rifle wasn't even that expensive. I had a CA M15A4. I stopped playing airsoft a while ago anyway.

I think there is a lot of diffrence between airsoft in the USA and in germany. here in germany we dont need to have orange tips at the end of the barrel and we havent got cheap gun. and here are many shops in which we get our guns repaired for free as long as we live. I DONT KNOW how it is in the USA but i think its like i described. correct me if im wrong

No, Americans buy the same very expensive guns like G&G, CA, KWA,and System, but one thing you are right about is that there are not as many airsoft stores in the U.S. and most will not do free repairs.

Lol, only recently looked at airsoft n paintball and had my first match (airsoft) was fun. Was also quite suprising how intense it got.

Actually now a majority of the special forces are using air soft because of the realistic gun and features of the guns. Air soft is not a pussy hobby. I mean you're playing with guns that have higher ROF than even a high end paintball gun, and a much greater FPS

I am an airsofter, but i am not to afraid to paint. i have been paintballing a few times and used a tipmann 98. it was fun and left big welts =D, buti have to say though that airsoft has been much more fun for me. oh and dont be callin airsofters pussies cuz it is not pussy. i myself have gotten numerous bleeding welts and have seen people lose teeth to pellets so sthu.

BTW guys, Most airsofters are smart enough to call hits, because if they are caught cheating the almost always will be sent home, or not allowed to play anymore, so it's not worth the risk.

very good video. Some people think eye protection is not really necessary ("whats the chances of getting hit in the eye?") but I can tell you it is. A guy that played with us would never wear anything and sure enough one day he got hit in the eye in some other game and got a detached retina and scratched up eye.

haha I have something about that... I was just shooting my gun for fun in my basement. I was just leaning against the side of a door and I shot the wall about 20-25 feet away. The bb bounces back and hits me in the eye. It hurt like a bitch but no damage because It wasnt going to fast.

well two things:
1. with paintball you can tell if they are out cuz the paint is clearly seen. i'm not calling all airsofters cheaters, i'm just saying its a hellofa lot harder to cheat with a 6 inch pink mark on your stomach
2. sometimes in airsoft if the adrenaline is pumping, you don't feel it and you can be accused of cheating, even if you really didn't feel it

If someone doesn't call thier hit you just fire more at them, its hard not to notice you're being hit when dozens of rounds are bouncing off you :p. Usually if someone is accused of cheating and claims not to have felt the hit then they will get the benefit of the doubt a couple of times but then if they continue to do it will be formally warned for cheating. I don't know whether you play speed of woods/scenario and whether its the same, but often players in speedball will try to wipe hits.

Is that fact or speculation? Look, if airsoft didn't work, then it wouldn't be played as much or on the scale that it is. Check out Airsoft Operation Irene. Airsoft is not SUPPOSED to hurt. As long as you know you were hit, that is enough. It is a game of honesty and integrity.
