Budweiser, Coors, Miller, and other macrobrewed swill aren't indicative of the entire nation's brewing ability. Find a local brewery, take a tour, and try some of what they're selling.

Try something from the Sierra Nevada, Great Lakes, or Stone brewing companies. They're nationally available, and put many imported beers to shame.

It's ironic that this is the lead Australian beer for the overseas market when here we don't drink it. It's horrible stuff.

And I don't remember the last time anyone referred to beer as "Amber Nectar". It's become slang of the past.

weird commercial,,, belgian beer for me. Australia was taken over by companies taking advantage, but its at the stage of time, technology and economy for the 20th century cor-piratism of australia to go by the wayside and make way for some real products and culture.

Have you heard of Crownies? They're both from the same barrell. Fosters comes from the bottom and Crown comes from the top.
