Luishazong, you make a very good point when you stated Obama is acting more as a Republican these days than a democrat, something I honestly haven't noticed. However, he's certainly not Rep. because the Reps seem to care more for the country itself than the democrats, in my opinion. Listen guys the fact about it is its a war. People die, people are bastards (afgans, british soldiers and US troops) when they want to have to and are expected too. The people of Afganistan are good people, they have their beliefs and they are technically a country behind with technology in certain aspects of life and some know no different which isnt their fault its a regimes fault)

My dad is in eastern Afghanistan and the people in the villiages near him are nice. A lot of the people of Afghan just want to live in peace and know the troops are there to help them. There are some that don't like US being there obviously, but most want peace. Without massive deaths to the taliban like groups then this war will never end. Taking out thousands of 'enemy' that hide around civilians without collateratldamage is hard over there.
