  • I haven't read all the comments so I don't know if you've answered this question, but, what is the exhaust setup on this car? It sounds awesome! As far as front wheel drive imports (or domestics) go, I know I will never own a FWD vehicle again. I broke every FWD I've ever owned (transmissions, engines, and axles). My best car to date was an ex cop 2003 crown vic, indestructible.

  • ditch the rims get some real slicks and run some real times cuz with those mods on slicks you can reach low 12's to high 11's I hate seeing muscle cars with these big ass 20's on the track and I don't even drag race but my honda run's faster than that

  • lol, what this car accomplished is possible you non believers lol. A guy in a 01 bullitt with ONLY 260rwhp and 306rwtq with a full suspension and tire set up runs 12.70s all day and with a rear end that only one tire spins right now lol. Just bolts ons I think no headlight nor back seats as well, no cams.

    i ran my 2003 gt completly stock launched at 2k rpm with traction control on and ran a 14.2 at 98 mph

  • @KOOPA1020 oh thanks, but im sorry, i am sticking to imports,im buying a acura integra gsr,according to motor week,the gsr sedan runs 14.9 on 1/4,ill save 3000$ on a 2 dr integra,enough to get a after market ecu,flywheel,inatake,header,an­d throttlebody,easy to modify too,more dependable,more economic,thanks for your info,but import guys respond quicker, and helped me out,thats why i am a honda fan,good luck to you and take care

  • man im not lying to you im telling you what his car did he has flowmasters a b&m shifter nitto 555r 275 wide and a sct out of box tune with timing turned up gears are stock were not retarded we know when a car is geared, he weighs 275#'s we have spare out and air box off other then that its stock. il try to get vid next time were out but were in chicago so its gonna be spring unless its crazy warm one weekend

  • sorry man but my cuz pulled a 13.7 bone stock and a 13.3 with just a ouuta the box sct tune you shouldnt be posting these times on youtube its kinda of embarrising with all those parts you have.

  • your full of it, no SCT tuner will make a .5 second diffrence on a New edge mustang, and no new edge mustang runs 13.7 stock with out drag radials and a good driver.

    Now, your cousin may have a NEWER mustang, like 05+ and then i'll believe you, in which case he still cant drive to well because they can usually run 13.5 bone stock and even lower with an SCT tune.

  • no sir a 2000 mustang gt bone stock with a 275drag radial an yes that tune did make that much of a difference when we played with it a lil bit it turns the timing up and we ran 93 octane 13.3@106mph with a 1.7 60 ft

    13.3 with drag radials and SCT tuner is simply not possible no matter how agressive you make the timing, it wouldnt even be possible even with straight 100 octane and timing. It's simply not possible. At 80 MPH in 5th gear, how many RPM is your cousins Mustang turning? because 13.3 with SCT tuner and drag radials is exactly what a geared mustang runs. Your telling me his car runs 12s with gears?!

  • Very nice N/A GT. I'm also building an N/A 2000 GT. When I race, I remove the spare, all seats but my own and run 1/4 tank of gas, and even then, my GT is pulling 13.8 nitto 555. It made 283whp. I just bought Comp stage 2 cams, but i'll install them in spring only (i'm from Quebec :)I'll also be buying slicks. I'm hoping cams and slicks will get ne in the very low 13s. Give me a few pointers i'f you'd like. thx

  • haha another N/A 4.6 2V running 12's!!! MAN you're my hero haha my best run in my 03 GT is 12.53 @ gainsville. I love showing my time slips and taillights to people who say mustangs cant be fast w/o power adders...THEY'RE STILL V8!!.. I get my 10.6 forged rotating assembly soon..I've been contemplating a 200shot wet kit as well as a trick flow intake manifold, but I think you need some relocation kit for that.

  • best to date, 12.58 @108.4 mph. With perfect cold air and eliminating all weight possible along with pulling the headlight. It was a pro event so the track was properly preped. increased front tire pressure to 55 lbs lowered street slicks to 20 ibs and launched @ 4,000 rpm. Was pulling 1.60' times all day. Like I said everything was perfect. 48 degrees f with a little tail wind to boot. Normally it runs 12.8's, 9,s and when it's hot and humid even 13 flats and mph drops to 104 or 105.

  • I have every bolt-on you can think of along with VT STAGE 1 CAMSHAFTS, 4:10 MOSER REAR END AND KOOKS LONG TUBES. Under perfect conditions car has run 12.5's but usually it's a high 12 or 13 flat. trap speeds are from 104 mph to 108 mph. Car is a blast to drive. I'm insist on staying no adder but it is so tempting sometimes. thanks for your interest in my car.
