Thats pretty awesome! The cello and flute really complimented each other. Especially how they both played their instruments in a unique way, pretty cool.
how can people just walk by and not see or hear the gift that god has blessed them with .no one stop there little busy lives to enjoy something so beautiful as that is ty for sharing that with me i would love to do a song with u guys or if u know them please comment back..
Yea I have no idea why people walk past something this musical... but aye. this is Texas where the guy that's about to mug you only does it because you didn't return a greeting.
@richfuller1222 This song is called "The Moon Over the Ruined Castle" on their cd "Winter in June." I tried to post the link to it over at cdbaby, but Youtube won't let me.
you know a guy has it in his soul when he has to jump up and down while playing :) i was just waiting for the guy playing the cello to catch him in the nuts with his bow, although that would have ruined the sweet tunes.
oh my god, raw tallent.. just makes you think how ignorant people are?! around my part of the world, my dog runs off at the beach, comes back then i walk him, and i get 5 or 6 people walk up saying aww is that your dog? we just fed him some biscuits or whatever, my point is people are really friendly, if i saw this, the least you can do is watch?!?!?!?!?!!! RAW tallent..
It doesnt matter where you are from where you live now if this was being played in front of me, even if I had two seconds two live if I didnt get to my destination on time I would have stopped and listened to this and groove with it. Dope
@ZeJanerio They actually made an amazing album about two years ago with this song on it. It's called Winter in June. You can buy it on iTunes, their group is called Project Trio.
Guys, they play with famous orchestras. They just had a gig in Italy. They're playing in the subway for FUN and for the people of New York to enjoy. Mind you, this videos was taken a few years back, but still, they're pretty famous now. So quit worrying and go look at some of their CDs/performances. lol. some of you are so silly. Love you Greg and Eric, especially you, Eric. :)
Though, I recommend the performers goto a place where people aren't going somewhere. People in a subway probably already have a place to go. and so they'll be on their way when they get off or on.
Its cliche, but a a park would be a good place because people are there to hang out, and not on-the-go.
I'm sure there's quite a lot of people listening to them playing, they just want to see the musicans faces, not their asses. And besides, they don't want to get recorded and see themselves on youtube:)
this is music right hear..and Fishmsplastic is right..how the hell are ppl jus walking by..what is the world coming to?!?! oh yea fucking justin beiber fans...shit we're screwed..
Americas got talent! Hahaha, no but really. Im kind of sure he would win it, and how much is the prize money for that? And he'll get internationally famous. Though I dont think he wants to be recognized as "Greg, the beatboxing flute guy from Americas got talent". Really Greg, though u don't sing or anything like that doesnt mean u'll get worldwide fame. Just look at Andy Mckee. He does some crazy shit on the Gstring. You only have one chanse to glow, u already do. Go m8go
@SedgewickNYPK Agreed, totally. There's always some sort of act going on in the subways. It's especially egregious in the route I take to get to college everyday (gotta go to Grand Central from Brooklyn and THEN up to Bronxville via Metro North). At the 42nd Street station on the F line, the tunnel between the F and the 7 always has this one talented female musician in there, and apparently she's well known, and I walk by her everyday, haha, just because I ALWAYS see here there.
@SedgewickNYPK Yeah because when your crammed together with a shit load of people you become expendable and no one gives a fuck about you unless you give them money drugs or pussy. Big cities suck the bigger the shittier and new york is most certainly one of the biggest. Fuck cities.
Well, this was not taken by freedomworksfilms, gregs official channel, so it was probly posted by someone else. And from the angle you can only see behind the musicians. I'll bet there were at least 3 people gathered along with the person shooting this video, but we just can't see them

This melody is "Kou Jyou no Tsuki" (荒城の月 Moon at the abandoned castle) by a Japanese composer Rentaro Taki 1901, cool arrange!
Thelonious Monk did this as "Japanese Folk Song" in his style.
But this is the best for me.
