haha i just took my first bird yesterday on opening day left m house and i steped outa the car when i took my first step into the woods three of them were runnng in the tall grass and i new where they were goin so i cut them off and shot the last one back it was 20 pound jake with only a 4 inch beard witch pissed me off but had 3/4 inch spers it was kool

i would use at least a 20 gauge because u have to shoot turkeys right in the base of the neck and 12 gauges can have trouble takin one down they are very tough animals

Thats Awesome, I took a family friend 14yr old for his first hunt here in Mo. on the 2009 youth season and I think I enjoyed calling for him just as much as hunting myself. Good Job!!!!!

No its a little .20 guage with full choke. Made by H&R now NEF. I personally wouldnt use a .410 I think a .20 would be better.

Yeah mine was a monster 1 inch spurs 25 inch fan and about 20 pounds mine was huge!!!!!!
