What a unique interview...Tori is damn funny and I like the interviewer and the qs he asked..very creative...and yeah Tori's had botox/plastic surgery of some kind...that's obvious...and yeah I was a bit disappointed when I realised that..but the music industry is a hard industry to be in..looks unfortunately are regarded as important...just as much as talent..and that sux.

Of course Tori looks different. You can't expect her to look the same as she did 15 years ago. People age. Things catch up to them. Surgery or not, it doesn't matter, she's not going to look the same anymore. And she shouldn't be expected to sound the same, either. She can evolve, and so can her music. She's very talented, either way. I enjoy the airy, intellectual unfettered quality of her. She's always been her own person, and she still clearly is. Miss the past, but embrace the future?

Um, I'm a huge Tori an but I make no allusions : she has had MAJOR cosmetic surgery AND Botox to the point where she is, indeed, unrecognizable. People age, yet still look like an older version of themselves. If you think that time and Botox have created that then you are delusional to a scary degree. I try to be objective and look at it from both sides, so I agree with all of you. The reason why people talk about her appearance is because she's a particularly good-looking woman and she changed a lot during this decade. And as for the music, just try to accept new Tori as something new, something different. I want my Pele goddess too, but she'll never return, I think. She's just changed and a lot of us have a thing for that pre-miscarriage Tori (I don't mean it in an offensive way).

I didn't want to write it because the last time I said something like that about Tori, I received a bunch of angry comments from people, but I agree completely with what you said. I've been a fan of Tori since her album Little Earthquakes, but recently I feel like I don't recognize her anymore. For everyone saying "the wigs are gone!!!." it is seriously stupid how some of you believe Tori wore the wig and the jumpsuit 'cause she thought she looked fabulous. Take a look at the concept of ADP, the interviews where Tori talks about the gendered stereotypes women juggle, listen to Digital Ghost, Girl Disappearing and Smokey Joe a few times then come back with some substantial interpretations that don't spring from merely superficial, materialistic perceptions, that Tori actually critiques.
