Im really happy that they changed the ending from the book. The ending in the film potrayed cancer for what it really is. It usually ends in death and in the film i really felt that it did cancer justice.

Movies based on books do that basically because in a book such as THE LORD OF THE RINGS or more recent TWILIGHT books can(and will)go over board with all of the details.
