  • @x0GiUnTa0x you can make games for consoles but your console needs to be a developers ($2-3000) and you'll need to buy the licence from unity (around $1500) you'll also need alot more than that. altogether its about $8000

  • @x0GiUnTa0x you can buy licenses for xbox 360, ps3 , and wii. but those are purchased through the actuall companies. more is explained on the unity website about this.

  • @Ionewolfgabo i made a fligh game development kit for unity and i made textures like this in the back with gimp, how long did you need? Sratch is so different to Unity, how did you learn it?

  • @warrockhexer I didn't use any kit. i said from scratch meaning from the begining from zero allways used Unity.

  • @warrockhexer I don't know what you mean by "you used my engine"... The skybox is a Unity's build in skymap... the engine is Unity 3D of course.. Every single code involved was done from scratch... Not a full game. is development. Part of a framework.

  • @Irano1995 I thought you said it was yours... Why you pointing this out? It's a freaking Su-37 Terminator with the navy hook added and that's it. Su-37's were also navy aircraft.

I just started with Unity, trying to make my dream game and I'm going to buy the Aircraft Kit available to help start me out but I'd love to get my aircraft to this level. I know everyone's probably bugged you about it, but I'd really love to get my hands on this or get help from you when I reach a point closer to this. Keep up the great work!

  • Very nice results, is the best flight physics that i seen in unity, i like so much flight simulators like Falcon 4 (OF). I tried to make some scripts in unity, for the AOA, lift coeficent and calculation is ok, but when the model turn it take a wrong direction...

  • Hey guys. i'd like to thk everyone for the coments and your intrest in the matter. In some time soon myself and my team will be putting together a veichles physics package. something like a GTA framework. Physics will include Boats, Airplanes, Cars, Helicopters, trailers, trucks, etc etc... So soon enough it will be available to be implemented directly into any game.

    Did you use rigidbody.Addforce? or Translate?

    I'm trying to create real physics but it seems I need more guidance.

  • Wow, fantastic. Might i ask where did you find information about the calculations of lift,drag,etc? (basically how did you apply the physic forces to the rigidbody )

  • @Thor82 The lift and drag formulas was taken from the formula used in wind tunnels calculations. It's a "theorical" aprouch that is missing some real life variables. I found it trough wikipedia, and NASA.

  • @lonewolfgabo Actually i'm trying to do that too, maybe it's not a so simple thing to begin with, but i have some serious problems on handling everything together: i started with only thrust and gravity (and obviously it doens't work) and now i'm trying to add lift, but that's where everything goes to hell

  • Wow thats really impressive may I ask how big your terrain is in unity?  and have you seamlessly joined a number of terrains or is it one big one?

  • @nomax5 Each terrain square is 10km wide. so far i used 5 What i did was to take a picture from google earth pro of an area in high resolution, then make very big image file in photoshop, and split it in 1024 x 1024 pieces from wich i make the height maps. Then in unity i make a 10000 x 10000 brush with the satelite image for that area and paint it. The only thing is that for some reason the height maps don't match on the borders.
