i think they should change his ult. not make anything different its just that it should be based around the chinese novel sun wukong journey to the west. something like nimbus clouds spinning around him knocking enemies up but with the same dmg of his current ult and they do the same thing. then change his nimbus strike to he dashes somewhere and damages nearby enemies.
all im saying is not nerf or buff him. it just doesnt make sense his magic powers arent his ult.

Q reduces the base amour of a champion which means it stays good as the enemy's base armor increases during the game. Your only at a disadvantage if the enemy builds armor. This doesn't happen very often. People usually build health and the champs that do build armor, you shouldn't be targeting anyway. You are meant to go for the squishies with Wukong!!! Noob!!
Wukong is my favorite champion, and i think he's great to use, but yes i think they should've gave him an ult that was a little more original, or at least make it do slightly higher damage, besides the knockup it's not the greatest thing around...
@superkamenriderfan dude, it's meant be used A: in conjunction with your Q and B: to set up for your team mates. Also, his ult is on such a fast cooldown in latter levels(and especially with cooldown reduce items) that u can use it in almost every encounter and team fight
@superkamenriderfan After buffing Wukong, he's really strong now. Basically, they tweaked decoy, gave extra AS from nimbus strike, and now crushing blow scales with 10% of your ad.
@ThiagoZENDRAGON Yea trinity is an outstanding Dps item for him, it suits almost everything he needs, recently I've been building tankier by replacing trinity with frozen mallet and then building atmas impaler.
so i build him tanky c cause he does fine amounts of damage but whats the point of not being able to last in a fight and when everyone says hes ulty doesn't work 1v1 have you ever tried eg during it lol cause 85% of the time i do fine with not fed and no cs so yea
I think that wukongs Q is 150+ is normal atk wich in that case its just an auto atk with 150 dmg more so the more ur dmg is high the more it does dmg +150
I've played Wu kong quite a few games already, Im doing fine with him with "exhaust, ignite" That means, No escape mechanisms apart from my "w". And more dps too. I think he's a well balanced champ, but as the author has mentioned before, can pull off some really clever tricks with him too, which is awesome. But one thing though, this champ requires good judgement to play, dont get yourself over heated while you're spinning around in group fight, cuz you do pull lots of agro :D

The way I see it, Wukong is a sweeper. He just cleans up after people. I believe that his Q can do massive spike damage if you have sheen and your attack damage being rather high. The way I achieved all this was through triforce, warmogs, and atmas. Atmas and warmogs synergizes well and gives survivability and it also gives you easily 70+ attack damage. Honestly, I think Wukong is perfect the way he is.
in addittion to all i have said. I average 10+kills every game with wukong and about 2-3 deaths. total games played with wukong 31 games: 30 wins and 1 loss.
My ign is shadowstealth. try this build and comment me on this build with wukong because im kind of annoyed of people saying wukong is weak or under power when really its the players themselves. I believe all champions are op if you just know how to play them the rite way.
then for your last 3 item try getting , last whisper, and black cleaver, and starks fervor. WIth all these items i was basically a god at late game i was dealing most damage and not dying at all. i based wukong as an offensive tank with lots of armor penetration that way i dont need to worry about his q bcuz hell pull out tons of damage.
first get cloth armor followed by 5 health potions then get ninja tab. afterwards aim for ghostblade or frozen mallet. if you can get one of the full item builds less then 10 minutes u shudnt have a problem getting kills or survivability. I usually win before i can finish my third item such as frozen mallet or ghost blade, depending on what you purchase. (note: this build works great late game and WUKONG ISNT SQUISHY and he deals the most damage getting lots of assist and kills)
I purchased him the 2nd day of his release and i have only lost 1 match so far with him. That match was a pain because i was up 14-0-5, but then i forgot to charge my battery and my labtop died so i lost alot of time. I came back and played the last 15 mins unable to catch up and died like 15 times. But anyways he is a great champion if you can build him rite. Try my build and see what you guys think
i disagree with all the statements about wukong. Personally i think he is a fine champion he doesnt need to get buff or weakened. If anything, it would be nice if they give his q after effect a stun or slow. Experience wise, i have played over 30 games with Wukong.

I like to go bruiser personally, i love to grab an early bruitilzer and then i build a bit of health maybe giants or just acrystal then with mercs... finish ghostblade build warmogs and atmas then its all gravey from that point

How can you say that his Q doesn't scale at all? It's basically an instant attack, and it scales 100% with his attack damage; Think of it as saying "Strikes for 150 (+ attack damage)". If they add an attack damage ratio then it will scale off of his attack damage twice.
The Q armor reduction is a known bug. It is supposed to affect total armor. Also, Q can be used on towers and inhibitors which makes wukong quite good at destroying buildings. And if you get sheen or triforce then his Q does great burst.
This is obviously better than champion spotlights, at least this is decent. The Phreak spotlight was him being 4 more levels than the enemy team and just dashing into them, obviously he is good then, every champion is good when he is fed. Anyhow this is a way better Champion spotlight due the fact of how much detail he went into and I love the fact that he also shows where he dies and not just "TROLOLOLTHIS CHAMP IS 2 GUD HE NEVER DIES!!!1 BUY HIM"... Good job, as always and keep it up :) <3

i was able to get my full items, that was because i was up against two people who kept falling for my clone tricks. i build tanky dps but can't really tank because he gets out of fights without getting attention to himself
it annoys me that riot hasn't brought something new to the table with their latest champs. Wukong is a usuall melee dps that has a spammable autoattack modifier (all of them has that), a gap closer (who doesnt have one ...?) and then they even steals a idea from thier own old champs and takes garens ult!!! ok ok the clone thing is new but I have seen more usefull spells. I dont mean that they have to have new game mechanics all the time but i would like some stranger ideas, some bold ones :D
I say that Wukong has a great game play style but lacks in his Q. His R is very useful in team fights knocking every champ up once benefits your teammates very well. Coming from an afk in the beginning to a godlike at the end of the game.
I personaly think that a Q + W combo is potentialy one of the best initiation in the game if the oposing team doesn't have an oracle. The fact there's no visual hint that you just stealth and used your clone can be devastating if someone on your team uses an ultimate.
@funzjake 012well, what he's sayin is at end game, it adds Only 150 ad, which is your base ad. you could have 400 ad and it would still only add 150 damage. not to mention at max rank it reduces about 18 armor makes it for a horrible ability.
just play him as irelia and you're fine.. his q isnt there to do 600 dmg its just for the extra dmg on his auto-attack and it even works on turrets. hitting 360 on turrets at lvl 15 is quite OP. His ulti is fine as it is since it's almost impossible to run away from since it knocks you up wich gives wukong time to catch up again. His W is annoying as fuck since at lvl 18 with some CDR it has a 6-7sec CD.
I've found that using defensive masteries adds more survivability. While you get dmg and atk speed items/runes. And while youre comparing him to garen and other bruisers but he is a different type of bruiser, like you said like an assassin but at the end he is very tanky anyway.
@D1PrinceHD yeah ... yesterday i played with a wukong against a wukong. So the enemy wukong had almost no hp left so our wukong used his q but it missed ... and then the other wukong killed him with his q and e xD
I like him from what I have seen. I found him really annoying in a game I played as Veigar trying to stun him and turn out its the clone. Quite frustrating indeed.

You're just building him poorly. Building him as an off-tank is the way to go. Warmogs/Atma's Impaler/Trinity/Treads/Banshees Veil/ Madreds.
That's the ideal build IMO

This is obviously better than champion spotlights, at least this is decent. The Phreak spotlight was him being 4 more levels than the enemy team and just dashing into them, obviously he is good then, every champion is good when he is fed. Anyhow this is a way better Champion spotlight due the fact of how much detail he went into and I love the fact that he also shows where he dies and not just "TROLOLOLTHIS CHAMP IS 2 GUD HE NEVER DIES!!!1 BUY HIM"... Good job, as always and keep it up :) <3

@7oxicAvenGer Thats what ALL spotlights are, they are set up games so phreak can make a champ look godly
That way people will buy RP to get them
I gotta agree with spunk though, his Q and R are pathetic
His W is a nice remake of shacos decieve, which was my fave stealth mechanic, and his E is godlike!

@7oxicAvenGer thats what the spotlights are,basically advertizements for the champions. think of it this way.imagine a movie trailer that states that while the movie has a great story, the acting is terrible.would you want to watch that movie? anyway,my point is that the spotlights arent reviews of the champs they are ecentially trailers.i dont understand whats with all the conspiracy theories that about roit wanting to make money(oh god their a company that makes money flame them!!!!!!)

srry if i sound lieka trol but you have on tried the 1 build i think just try laods other others i personaly wen dorans shield,mercs,yomus,tri force,warmongs,atmas i played 10 games doing this lost 1 and all 10 games was over 10 kills

i was able to get my full items, that was because i was up against two people who kept falling for my clone tricks. i build tanky dps but can't really tank because he gets out of fights without getting attention to himself

it annoys me that riot hasn't brought something new to the table with their latest champs. Wukong is a usuall melee dps that has a spammable autoattack modifier (all of them has that), a gap closer (who doesnt have one ...?) and then they even steals a idea from thier own old champs and takes garens ult!!! ok ok the clone thing is new but I have seen more usefull spells. I dont mean that they have to have new game mechanics all the time but i would like some stranger ideas, some bold ones :D

I say that Wukong has a great game play style but lacks in his Q. His R is very useful in team fights knocking every champ up once benefits your teammates very well. Coming from an afk in the beginning to a godlike at the end of the game.

I personaly think that a Q + W combo is potentialy one of the best initiation in the game if the oposing team doesn't have an oracle. The fact there's no visual hint that you just stealth and used your clone can be devastating if someone on your team uses an ultimate.

spunk his Q is like anh auto attack +150 damage so techniquelly it has a 1:1 ad ratio :D:D

@funzjake 012well, what he's sayin is at end game, it adds Only 150 ad, which is your base ad. you could have 400 ad and it would still only add 150 damage. not to mention at max rank it reduces about 18 armor makes it for a horrible ability.

just play him as irelia and you're fine.. his q isnt there to do 600 dmg its just for the extra dmg on his auto-attack and it even works on turrets. hitting 360 on turrets at lvl 15 is quite OP. His ulti is fine as it is since it's almost impossible to run away from since it knocks you up wich gives wukong time to catch up again. His W is annoying as fuck since at lvl 18 with some CDR it has a 6-7sec CD.

I've found that using defensive masteries adds more survivability. While you get dmg and atk speed items/runes. And while youre comparing him to garen and other bruisers but he is a different type of bruiser, like you said like an assassin but at the end he is very tanky anyway.

Another awesome thing about him is that you can actually hit towers with his Q, and it makes him a freakin tower destroyer when he has a sheen.

I also find that his Q doesn't hit all the time, I don't know if its a bug but when im in team fights or in a 1 v 1 his Q seems to miss a lot.

@D1PrinceHD yeah ... yesterday i played with a wukong against a wukong. So the enemy wukong had almost no hp left so our wukong used his q but it missed ... and then the other wukong killed him with his q and e xD

I like him from what I have seen. I found him really annoying in a game I played as Veigar trying to stun him and turn out its the clone. Quite frustrating indeed.
