  • This is insanely fast.....

  • @britbrighton It is. Just keep pushing pause. Latwy!

  • Yes great but again slower

  • I'd like to see these two chicks make out, with a little tounge action.

  • tfu, tfu, mój błąd,

potrzebować - kogo? czego? (dopełniacz) - JAKIEGOŚ prezentu

Bardzo przepraszam, okazuje się że odmian jednak wcale nie znam lepiej niż filozofii :(

  • @acruska

    lol

  • Potrzebujemy - kogo? co? - JAKIŚ PREZENT (ale: jakiegoś zwierzaka)

to nie jest, kurcze, filozofia, to biernik!

  • you have to make more videos!

  • This is a complicated, beautiful language. I can see why the Polish kids in my neighborhood who went to my schools were so smart. Speaking a language so unlike English and they spoke English perfectly, too, must have made their brain bigger. I heard this language growing up and hardly learned a word. I heard Italian after I got married and can understand my husband's family's dialect because it is an easier language. Pan, Pano, Pana in Polish mean you for a man, just one confusing example.

  • chcesz śśic na impreze? xd

  • było by super ,żeby jeszcze po angielsku było mówione bo przy okazji nauczyk=łabym sie jezyka ang.pozdrawiam i prosze o dodatek z anglika papa

  • Polish is complicated, but so is English. English doesn't always follow the rules of grammar, for example the rule i before e except after c, doesn't apply in every case. There are exceptions to the rule, this must be confusing for foreigners,

  • I'm exhausted.

  • I'm getting faster than the narrator!

  • Why does Daniel suddenly change sex in the middle of the conversation? He starts off as Daniel and then becomes Daniella. I'm confused.

  • @Feisty1967 He didn't change sex, its part of grammar

  • @Feisty1967 he doesn't; it's hard to explain but it's just a part of the grammar.

  • Is there any books or literature to accompany this series? After the video has finished I forget half of what I've learned. If it was written down, I would have something to refer to.

  • @Feisty1967

please watch the whole video :) I listed it all up at the end

  • @Feisty1967 write it down then?

  • xDDDDDDDDDD

  • Dokładnie. Powinno być "Potrzebujemy Jakiegoś prezentu!" A nie Potrzebujemy jakiś prezent. Choć niektórzy mówią tą drugą wersję ale prawidłowo sie odmienia na Potrzebujemy jakiegoś prezentu.

  • I am enjoying these SO MUCH. This is more effective than the styles in all the french uni classes I took. Thank you thank you thank you =)

  • @Feisty1967

no offence, but to think that Polish would be clumsy is clumsy thinking :D Polish is beautiful and very easy to speak.

  • @magauchsein "very easy to speak" powaliło cię?

  • @HarumPL

    musimy dodawac otuchy :D

  • @magauchsein you're crazy. German, English, Spanish, Italian thats easy. Hell for Polish ...

  • @edderd8

I would like to produce so much supporting material that even learning Polish could be easy :)

  • @Feisty1967 polish is very more complicated than english and more advanced in many ways, think before you says things...

  • @TheMrPolskaaa Whatever.

  • @TheMrPolskaaa

"Polish is very more complicated than English" The irony there is beautiful beyond belief. English might be harder for you if you learned some of the grammar. Maybe someone here should take their own advice :D

Now before everyone jumps on me, I am sorry I could not resist pointing that out.

  • I'm exhausted.

  • Hej Kasia! Jak się masz! Kupmy prezent," trala la! mało przydatne, zbyt trudne jak na początek. Polski jest trudny...

  • Myślę, że to jest za trudne jak na drugą lekcję. Powinny być raczej łatwiejsze zwroty.

PS: "Musimy znaleźć jakiś prezent" is right. Wiem, bo jestem POLKĄ.

  • You completely lost me.

  • Fucking hell mate! Can you slow it down a bit?!

  • "POCZEBUJEMY JAKIS PREZENT" AHAHAHAHAHA

  • This is not in the video, but, why does jechać lose 'ch' when conjugated: jadę, jedziesz, etc...? Is this the only verb where 'ch' turns into 'd' or 'dzi'?

  • Powinno byc: "Tak, ale potrzebujemy JAKIEGOŚ PREZENTU", a nie

    " tak, potrzebujemy JAKIŚ PREZENT"

  • I don't know if anybody has already said this, but the last verb "znalesc" is conjugated another way: "Ja znajde, ty znajdziesz, on znajdzie....".

The forms shown here belong to the verb "znajdowac".

So that's all I wanted to say. :)

  • Jestem POLKĄ I wiem...

Potrzebujemy jakiś prezent or Potrzebujemy jakiegoś prezentu - is good.

  • We must is not in Unit 1 !! (we must, you must, they must ...) :P

  • gracias

  • very helpful! thank you very much

  • @sasmg

I try say ---- For you polish language is hard but for me english ;)

  • The pronauciation is wrong.

  • Wybaczcie, ale lektor ma tak odpychający głos, że nie da się tego słuchać : <

  • kurwa moje pole

  • if someone want to learn polish this is big help to him

  • if someone really wants it, he should stay in poland for few months ;) not watchin' this bullshit, just learn by practice!

    peace

  • Daniel likes a BJ too! He would be much more happy with that

  • cool videos thank you :)

  • It's so difficult but so easy.. Thank god for Aga!

  • j am don't know is polish language is popular and that wants someone learn ;) I'm learn is 15 yers beacouse j live in poland and I be polish ;) now j'm learn is english and some spanisch ;)

  • "To" does not mean "it". "It" is "ono" in Polish. "To" means "this," when referring to something neuter. For example, To dziecko płacze.- This child is crying. Ono płacze.- It is crying.

  • I thought that u were speaking croatian because it is the same like croatian.

  • not always

"It is great" - "To jest dobre"

  • Comment removed

  • YESSS I actually understood some of this without looking at the translations :):) jestem szczesliwy teraz;)

  • a ja umiem po polsku bez żadnych kursów, jaki zdolny jestem :D

  • good work but not so fast..... I need time to think and repeat.....

  • Comment removed

  • ahhh im ukranian and i can understand polish most of the time wen i read it

but wen dey talk its kinda hard to understand it

  • im croatian and i understand polish when reading too... zdravstvuj v horvaška!!!

  • Me too

  • ooooo lol, funny conversation , Daniel lubi się bawić LOL

  • daniel lubi sie bawić

  • "Potrzebujemy JAKIEGOŚ PREZENTU", not "jakiś prezent" :P

  • For all, who learn Polish:

Correct form is "ale potrzebujemy jakiegoś prezentu" or "potrzebujemy mieć jakiś prezent", but it'd sound the best: "Ale musimy mieć jakiś prezent"

  • Daniel ma dzisiaj urodziny, będzie trzepał 3 godziny

  • hehe jak śmiesznie..że ktoś się uczy polskiego..wspołczuję tego ę i ą,sz,cz,ż,ź.. :)

  • thanks, i really like your videos, they are very helpful

  • it isn't very good...

  • Filmik jest beznadziejny - po co chcesz uczyć obcokrajowców złej składni, złych form gramatycznych i w dodatku złej wymowy? 'poCzebujemy' ? 'poczebujemy jakiś prezent?' a nie 'potrzebujemy prezentu?'

don't try to learn polish from this video. It's full of mistakes in pronunciation and grammar

  • Nice work, But a tip.. Talk slower for those who never spoke polish before :P Like im from sweden and im having a hard time cathing up with what you are saying if you know what i mean ^^

    Robin

  • ale to dziwne jak Anglicy/Amerykanie ucza sie polskiego XDD ale dobrze wam idzie *W**

  • Could you please make more videos like this? I like these story boards and have learnt the most from Polish Basics - Unit 1 and Polish Basics - Unit 2. I like how you use certain words and make a list of the possible ways of saying it. I would like this see more videos like that :)

    Cheers, Alexey.

  • great

  • Great videos though!

  • Ewa Farna inspires me to learn polish)

  • Yes! I think this is a nice project and helpfull! I consider this intersting and I appreciate it as a SUPER PROJECT!

  • are polish verbs always this irregular? it's kind of... intimidating :[

  • Yes it is.

    Its bl**dy awful actually.

The thing is to not be a perfectionist.

At least not to start with

    David

  • I've got a question.

When it explains "ona jest dobra - she is good", "on jest dobry - he is good" and "to jest dobre" is that the only pronunciations for "good"? So would I say "ja jest dobre" or there is more? Like the other examples for words like "read". "ja czytam", "ty czytasz" and etcetera. Please reply.

    Thanks, Alexey.

  • ja jestem dobry (I'm good)

    ty jesteś dobry

    on jest dobry

    ona jest dobra

    to jest dobre

    my jesteśmy dobrzy

    wy jesteście dobrzy

    oni są dobrzy

  • ja jestem dobry = I am good ty jesteś dobry = You are good on jest dobry = He is good ona jest dobra = She is good to jest dobre = It is good my jesteśmy dobrzy = We are good wy jesteście dobrzy = You are good oni są dobrzy = They are good Is this all the right translation? Also is there a special saying for "good"? It is hard to explain. Like as you would say "lubić" - "to like"? Thank you, Alexey.
  • "Potrzebujemy jakiś prezent" sounds odd for a native and it isn't correct.

After the verb "potrzebować" we always use Genitive case (kogo? czego?).

So it should be "Potrzebujemy jakiegoś prezentu."

  • dziękuję za uwagę. Kontynujemy ten projekt pod nazwą "Polish Story Board Dialogs". Tym razem konsultuję teksty z przyjaciółmi z Polski. Listę tych dialogów możesz znaleźć funkcją "playlists" w tym kanale.

  • this is very cool. i don't really understand the pronunciation rules, but it's always fun to learn some basic words in a new langauge.

  • Thanks for this video with all the verb conjugations! Tremendously helpful!

  • Hi,

AS comments for lesson 1; these clips are so useful.....helping me a lot.

I'mstarting to pu some pieces together, slowly!

Its not an easy language so its so good to have different avenues to try!

    Many thanks!

    David

  • dobre ^^ fajnie znać trudny język :D

  • anybody knows a good place to gou out near zilona gora???I'm going this weekend to Poland, trying to find a place to party....(any lesbian discotheques there???)

  • if i didn't know polish..this would be so hard to learn.

  • i found this by accident. But it just seems like Polish some kind of code language. Pronouncing letters when they are not there.

It doesn't explain why you should pronounce it that way.

  • hahh xD you know, polish people find some english words so funny because it's true - you pronounce letters in different way from ours

a dla Polaków - przeczytajcie sobie "appreciate" tak jakby bylo po polsku i powiedzcie - czy to nie jest pocieszne? x)

  • 감사합니다!

  • This is definitely one of the better youtube Polish lessons. Thanks

  • i have found a minor error in the lesson

  • lordmoggy, would you care to share it with the class?

  • let me study the vid again to tell you the answer.

  • Wouldnt it be. "Tak, ale potrzebujemy jakiegos prezentu..."

  • Hard one :P i think it s like that: 'potrzebujemy prezent' and 'nie potrzebujemy prezentu'. It s a bit confusing

  • Moim zdaniem Polski wcale nie jest łatwy do nauki, ale można go bardzo rozpracować :)

  • i love this, these help me out so much!!

  • That's very good. Thank you so much for this help. Highly appreciated.

  • it's good

just go on with other lessons

    :-)

  • Lol das Video ist ja interessant, dass lässt sich gar nicht verkennen aber meine ganze Aufmerksamkeit wird von der Blondine im Video angelockt ;)

  • wie gefällt dir ihr Stimme :D

  • barzo supeeer!

    dzenkuje :-)

  • djenkuje!!! it is very useful!

  • Excellent, this format helps us to see how words combine instead of just hearing them alone.

    Keep up the good work.

  • this is soooo helpful please keep it up.

  • I was about to tell you that it would be nice to have pauses in between all of the conjugated verbs so that I can say them after you, but I just realized I can always pause the video!

This is really helpful and I hope you continue making these.

    -amanda :)

  • yes, and I hope you help me :)

  • Dang it man you are good - this one is good pace almost perfect - and it is great work jan - Thank you so much please never stop

and hey I am having a problem with dzi I see it is supposed to sound like du in duke but I thought it was more like a J sound like jeans but with a ui kinda sound breifly at the end :// any way off topic - this lesson will keep me good for a good month or so thanks - YOu rock bro

  • Thank you sister ;D

  • This is very helpful, and appreciated very much, looking at the other comments.

I would really like to learn polish. I have no idea why, besides the fact it is the language I must learn in order to understand my grandmother!!! (she speaks english, but usually polish)

    lol

  • This is great or should i say to jest spanjaly (not sure if thats how u spell it lol) u need to upload more of these please please please :-)

  • trzecia osoba to on, a nie to geniuszu. Jak chce się kogoś uczyć języka, to najpierw samemu trzeba go umieć.

  • masz na mysli "ono"?

  • tak, sorry :D. Tak to jest, jak się człowiek wymądrza :-)

  • I didn't know that my language are so freakin crazy! XD lool

  • im loving it!!!

  • I love this, you learn how the people talk, not just some words that you cant put together afterwards.

I like the other polish vids (the 45 1 min long vids with 7 words each and bla bla ;) ) but this one teaches verbs and useful stuff while the other is mainlt sustantives.

    Thanks a lot!!!

  • just great! can you please, please, please do some more of these?

  • this is great thank you so much!

  • To jest bardzo dobrze...

Ja nie jestem z Polska, ale razumiem troche popolsku...

sorry about some mistakes I make!

  • Very good! Helped me a lot..

But it should be interesting if you could slow the conversations a little, it's too fast!

Anyway, keep the good work.. It's great! :-)

    Urszula.

  • you. are. awesome.

Thank you so much for these amazing videos!

  • im learning polish language since im now living here in poland. and your videos helps me a lot. Thank you so much!

  • You cannot imagine how grateful I am for these videos! they are excellent. thank you so much. I am struggling with polish prononciation so much that its great to have these videos!!!

  • i am just beginning and i REALLY appreciate your videos !

  • These videos are fantastic! I try and listen to one a day and repeat them and I have learnt so much already after just 2 of them! Thanks for your hard work

  • Thanks a bunch!

  • Great video! I like the phrases and lists of forms at the end of the video. I've been writing down the words and lists of forms in a notebook. What makes these all the more useful is the lack of Polish learning resources available. I took a short course in German and know a lot of the verbs but couldn't find the Polish equivalents to them but couldn't until now. Thank you.
