Sorry guys but I have been plenty of times to the Bradford Mela and I am sorry to say: difficult to perfrom in front of a crowd of second generation trash kids who are all drunk and who have no clue about their culture and yet claim to be proud to be whatever they are. A shame!
I've seen him play live 3 times. He shows up between 45 min and 2 hrs late, whines about how he hasn't had time to tune his tabla, and then plays a brief, crap set and people walk out. It's the same every time. No wonder they booed him. Karsh Kale is way better live.
