Im Just Curious... can you do a video showing how your camera is mounted on your rifle? And could you please tell me in as much detail as you can remember right now what kind of camera you are using.
@EKYBI This was just a 8.1 megapixel Casio Exilim. We actually had no mount for this video, we just had someone try to hold the camera while the other shoots. It was very difficult.
@Spyyko We didn't write down the chronos but I roughly remember mine getting around 450 with .2's and 380 with .3's. I'm more sure about the .3's fps than the .2's.
dude get out of airsoft i got out a couple months ago and now i shoot my dads guns and kill rabbits gophers etc ya i still have my airsoft guns but its been a while since i picked 1 up airsoft is cool but hunting is way better
@zachn11 Before you assume I'm an airsoft addict, I personally own five actual firearms, two of them being Remington 700's, one is a VLS chambered in .223 Rem and the other is a Sendero SFII chambered in .300 Ultra with optics costing in excess of $900 for both. I'm also an avid reloader and shooter, I shoot my actual firearms constantly and go groundhog hunting regularly. I airsoft about three times a year.........
@16707070 Your friend doesn't know very much about airsoft rifles if he thinks the UTG Shadow Ops Sniper (L96) is the best and no, it is not the best =P
There are three members on our airsoft team, Edge, Rane or Mirage, and SniperAce (which is me). Sometimes not only I reply to comments, which is why we display who is replying.
Because this isn't a mil-dot reticule, just your standard duplex. And I do know, I have a Bushnell Elite 6500 tactical 4.5-30x50 with a mil dot reticule and a regular Bushnell Elite 6500 4.5-30x50 with a mil dot reticule for my real rifles. I've also done extensive research on the specific mil dot reticule and fabricated several useful hold over formulas by extrapolation of a few known constants, for example, the 3.6" space between mil-dots at 100 yards on 10x magnification.
Is it really that hard to click where it tells you? This is our old account, we want people to start watching video's on our new account. This is why we have a shortcut in this video to view the new video on our other account.
It's so you can view the video on our new account. We're the dumb-ass's? By the way you spell you should really reconsider who's the dumb-ass here. Your further comments will be erased for I have no time for someone like you.
My excessive knowledge of external, internal, and terminal ballistics terms allow me to give a proper and accurate explanation of the problem or question at hand. If you have any questions please ask!
Please explain to me how the Tanio Koba barrel's twist, or looser bore diameters such as 6.04 gives better accuracy than a 6.01 or 6.00 because the air inside the barrel provides cushioning for the projectile. I would also know how relative the weight is on airsoft BBs for air resistance, force carriage, and kinetic energy transfer.
u shud have moved it away to look at the same tree without a scope, im tryin to find out how big the zoom is, and dont tell me numbers, i just wanna see it.
This is really not a video bragging about how far I can successfully hit a target. If I want to do that I can get my Reminton 700 VLS chambered in .223 Remington and tape it hitting targets at 600 yards consistently then take the camera away so you can SEE how far it is. By the way the riflescope was on 9x magnification and the tree was 35 yards away lazer rangefinder verified. This video was to just test the "scope cam" for future possibilities.
Nice, I got a Remington 700 VTR Chambered in .223 Myself. I load it with 65 grain match grade bullets with precise milligram gun powder weight to match the distance I am shooting for. You should have yours glass bedded, free floated and fit it with a Jewell trigger. I have it in that configuration. Harris bipod and a good scope is a must. A rifle is good as its scope. I got a Zeiss one myself, one of the littler higher ups, the Leupold competitor ones.
Physically the actual weight between the two isn't very much, although the performance difference is big in several aspects. The .3 gram bb is superior in retaining its velocity downrange compared to the .28. Secondly some airsoft guns are quite picky, just a small weight difference of .02 grams can mean the difference of consistent position of impacts downrange. If you ever want to run the bare calcs discluding hop-up correction, I made several B.C.'s of airsoft bb's.
I ran several tests to determine the ballistic coefficient of .3g and .28g Matrix bb's and here are all my results which include actual diameter, sectional density, and form factor. Everything has been professionally verified by micrometers, scales, and chronographs.
For reference, sectional density is in pounds per square inch and ballistic coefficient is in G1.
As soon as I find a ballistics calculator that will allow me to input such low ballistic coefficients I will post some velocity retentions between the two, but for now enjoy!! Any questions you may have please ask!
In my personal experiences with the Well L96, I recommend it only to "newcomer" players. It is an excellent starter rifle, but if used in excess it will wear fairly fast. And when I say wear, I mean wear such as a 50 ft/s reduction and a slightly sloppier yet smoother bolt. If you want a better more durable starter airsoft rifle, I would recommend the JG-BAR10. My fellow partner Mirage has recently purchased one and I was thoroughly impressed.
The JG BAR 10 is for experinced airsoft marksman, I would not say its a begginer rifle. But if you can prove me otherwise name a sniper rifle that can outsnipe the BAR 10.
Yes, that actually is a bolt action. An action is the physical mechanism that manipulates airsoft bb's and/or seals the breech, in this case it is a bolt, which makes this a bolt action. Anyone who has an extremely basic knowledge of firearms would know that this is in fact a bolt action.
The bb hit high because the rifle is sighted in for 60 yards. This is because the trajectory of any projectile is a parabola. Also its only airsoft, the bb isn't going to hit on the crosshairs every time.
We have changed our name to GhostsofWarAirsoft. Take a look at that name to see the most recent and older videos that GOW(TeamShadowOps)have recorded.
i went to buy an airsoft gun, i saw that they got snipers and i could look at them and hold them and look through the scope, but the price was HOLY CRAP. I really wanted it
Well this was our first video, the one you saw is the second one which I (SniperAce) made by myself. This video was just an idea and inspiration for further videos.
If you actually tried doing a video like this you would learn how difficult this is to do. The tree in this video is 35 yards away (laser rangefinder verified). Anyways click on my Airsoft Sniper Crosshairs 2, I moved the scope to see how far it was.
Thanks you. I am a veteran in ballistics of all sorts, such as, firearms and airsoft. I spend countless hours fine tuning my rifle for optimal accuracy. If you watched Airsoft Sniper Crosshair 2, you would see a nicely placed shot done by me on a tree at 64 yards.
You have to be at least 18 to purchase the gun and to have it I guess just with your parents permission. This Well L96 Sniper Rifle will run you about $130.00
If your gun shoots say an inch to the left, then usually you would rotate the horizontal knob to the right. Basically you move the reticle the direction you want the bullet to go.Also wind could be effecting the bullet.
Nope none at all. This Well L96 shoots 480 fps with .2 gram bb's stock. But in this video I am using .3 gram bb's. Check out some of my other videos too.
