  • Have you ever heard about Western Group of Russian Army, in the Germany? It was there since we won those fuckers, and untill 1994, till our jerk Gorbachev sold our country out and moved out everything from there, and gifted to Germany all that lands and buildings etc for free. Muthafaker!!! But that group could be ableto take on ANY european country, it was a super powerfull FIST on the european part!

  • and there was everyone else fighting, but not Russia. that is very lies what they telling in here to people. By the way, I know that not from the history books, but from the real people, who survived through that war. Even my granddad was a soldier in 1941-1942 till he s got injured there. Russia wouldn't collapse infront of Germany. And by the way, it didn't. and even went in the end and took overBerlin! Who's gonna say it wasn't Russia too, I'll fucken spit in his dirty liar face!

  • it is Russia who won Hitler. And all that allied forces never were even close to where all the harshiest shit was happening. They were somewhere in Europe, where nothing miuch was happening, because everyone just gave up infront of German Army right away. But the real shit was happening at the russian land. All of you americans and etc, don't know the shit. When I moved to Canada and in this school they were telling the story about it, I was just laughing of a such a BULLSHIT.

  • Is this only me?

That UAZ is the best car made in Russia?

  • How can u take a fiat and name it for lada? It stil fiat well?

  • moskvich ftw

  • The first SUV was the jeep and there were also some "Suburban" taxis before that. You can always count on the soviets to alter history and claim to be the first in everything. 1977 was hardly the first suv. Thed been around in the usa since the 20s and 30s. The soviet cars are attractive though

  • @meronmotors, I think there needs to be some clarification to the SUV question. The Niva was the first vehicle to have unibody construction and feature full-time all wheel drive. Since it had locking center differential and low range transfer case, it could also be considered a real off-roader (and it is). In a way, you could say that Niva put a start to modern day crossovers. In any case, you can't argue that it had a pioneering role in automaking.

  • If you saw Ladu viburnum simply hurry from nee=) (Top Geаr)

  • It won't be long before possession of a real Soviet era car will be the ultimate trendy thing to have. Modern Russian cars look no different than Ameri-Jap rental cars. Russian automakers must be buying the same robot assembly lines and tooling as all the others, which is why most all cars look the same.

Personally, I'd love to get a real GAZ M21 Volga.

  • @InfiniteMushroom I want the one @3:20, sooo godfather like!!!

  • I wish they would of looked up to Germans and not to Italians.

  • 500,000 KM = 310,000 MI

  • One more thing. So the Russians copied a few western cars. Big fucking deal!!! While the West was griping about the USSR copying their piece of shit Packards the Russians were working on what really counted: LIKE BEING THE FIRST NATION IN SPACE for example.

And don't forget who really beat Hitler. IT WAS RUSSIA. If it wasn't for the USSR the fucking Queen of England would be sucking cock in a German whorehouse.

  • @onlyTELLitHOWitIS yeah, you're right. people who think with tv stamps coming from coldwar era think like russia's a big bad place full of wild villian semi-animal beings who just steal, copy and take what doesn't belong to them. just like all that damn west propaganda of all times of being "higher elves" and russians "orks", and completely blind to that fact that russians gave many fundamental scientific, technological, medical, cultural, historical and other invaluable things to the world.

  • @Galova Tell that to an ex Yugo owner!!!

  • @Mrphatbastard1 Blame the Italians and Fiat for your Yugo. The Yugo was a slightly modified version of the Fiat 127.

  • @onlyTELLitHOWitIS Without allied Lend-Lease program, russia would have completely collapsed in front of the german army. So it wasn't russia who beat the germans. You shouldn't believe everything you read or hear in russia. And by the way...look at your country now.

  • @onlyTELLitHOWitIS wow you username HAHHA

  • In soviet russia, car import you!

  • omgomgogmomg i went to that museum they showed .. they have amazing automobile's there.

  • LADU nazvac mashinu trudna :)))

  • @giomarshania ну да, вот че че а машины делать наши так и не научились

  • once had production similar to argentina!!!!

  • Owning a russian car means you involuntarily become a mechanic yourself

  • It is amazing!!!! WOW! After defeating Germany in WW2 being the largest country in the world, the average Russian never lived as well as a European or was able to make a better product. Do the Russians know why? Was Hitler right after-all? Russians should get their shit together. What the hell is going on? It is a country with glory only during a war. In peace times, they are nothing. But man, they have beautiful women. God bless them just for that.

  • No mention of where some of these "soviet' designs came from, so here goes:

Lada, of course, is based on Fiat designs obtained through a license agreement with the Italian company. At least it was legal..., not every soviet car was a legal copy.

Pobeda=stolen Opel design. After WW2, the soviets simply dismantled Eastern Germany's production plants and carted them away to start producing German designs.

Tchaika=every version of these cars was an illegal copy of an American Packard.

  • @CaptHollister The Pobieda wasn't a opel copy. The Moskvich 400 series was an opel copy, because Stalin got the entire production line of the prewar Opel Kadett, after the division of Germany. (The old Opel factories were in the Russian part. Too bad for Germany back then.) The Chaika wasn't a copy at all, and it was illegal neither, because it was only meant for the leadership in the domestic countries. But I agree it looked very American. Get the book "Cars of the Soviet Union" by Haines.

  • @CaptHollister Ofcourse I meant "Haynes".

  • russian cars- a big joke, always was always will be.

  • he's got a funny accent:).trying to sound british:)

  • lada = fiat

    moskvich = simca

there is not russian made cars just copies

  • @vanadiumV It's a joke? Lada 1/4 = Fiat, Moscvitch is Moscvitch. And stop talking about copies I agree with you, but only one! First ladas is copy like 2101 21011 21013 after russian made independed cars. Moscvitch it's another car making only russian engeneer-technologists without your "simca". So what can you talk about Gaz, Zil, Kamaz, Uaz, Kaz, Kavz, Liaz and another?

  • @vanadiumV yh, Légale copy!

  • 21: 55, man on the right side trying to shut the door of the car... I heard rumours about russian cars quality , but at liest they could bring good-onces for show. Interesting though..

  • @Erniz2 It's fucking car not russian as you can see it's chevrolet niva copy of lada niva

  • @smolVAD

    who's manufacturing it?

  • @Erniz2 I think you know who's! Made in Russia but blueprints made in another country!

  • @smolVAD

Dont be naive, blue prints have nothing to do with high-end quality. You can have the very best blueprints and ruin product quality in production process. I have at home German fridge "Liebher" made in Romania. And its piece of sh**t ! Half of it shelf had broke off. Magnet-tape on the door torn in stripes! By the way , the issue (and other issues) with malfunctioning car door locking is common to all Russian made cars. Even with BMW made in Kaliningrad.

  • @Erniz2 What I hear is biased? So you want tell me that all productions in Russia shit, also productions made by robots? So I have now russian Lada 21053 but all doors working good!

  • @smolVAD I am not biased , just trying to be realist.

  • @Erniz2 O.K. dude I agree with you about reliable Russians cars!!! *PeacE*

  • The first sport utility vehicle was the Willys Jeep

  • @surethang27 Yeah in second world war was a hunting for willys Jeep, but after time soviets made a copy of this car! as I remember namned gaz 61

  • It's funny how so many Russian cars were copies of cars from Capitalist countries.

  • @talfacprez Really? For example?

  • @smolVAD Fiat, Cadillac, Chevrolet Corvair etc. Early examples are mid 50s Packards and Mercuries. Check out Top Gear's segment on Are There Any Good cars from the Eastern Block. It pretty much covers the topic.

  • @talfacprez Fiat = Early Lada but others? I can't trust to Top Gear's just PR and no more.

  • I hope Vladimir Putin Knows about the Evil in all of our hearts, so that he can have the leadership to help his people and his country advance in the modern world. And the Russian people will be happy to be among the rest of the world.

  • @xBeAGoodPersonx Again about politicy. It's has got tired

  • I'd like a brand new boxy Fiat inspired Lada!

  • A mne nrawiza NACHA L A D A ! ! !

  • for European car companies Russia is the fastest growing, i think that's what he ment

  • Yes it is, the European peninsular of the Eurasian continent is generally regarded as extending from the Ural mountains in Russia to the British Isles.

  • If you would learn geography instead words "fakka" and "mazafakka" you would know, that Russia is european country. If consider Europe like cultural center, Russia created a large part of european culture.

  • @oncelostmain where are you from dude?"Russia created a large part of european culture"????????? have you been in europe?? i'm hungarian, they have been in my country long enough, but there is no culture of them!!!!(if you ment culture as the hole ordinary life!!) yes some building or big traffic vehicles(metro, train)nothing else.not even cars (unfortunetly)anymore! and then look around in europe!!! peace!

  • @borsohuszar 1). where to see russian culture in Hungary - today i saw by euronews a ballet Petrushka, on festival in Hungary. Besides, you can not see connections between modern culture and classic, for example, mach of modern movies were based on ideas of russian writers, transformed into modern. Read about Akira Kurosawa and his relation with russian culture

  • @borsohuszar Man don't forget that we russians hungrians germans serbians and etc we all a slavic nation, and we have common culture

  • Lada Niva rulez! =)

  • @wimpog97 Marussia B2 R spec: Cosworth tuned 3.6 litre V6 sports car, 420 BHP. Weighs 850 kg and does 0-100 in 3.2 seconds. Courtesy of Nikolai Fomenko. Suck it cuz.....

  • VAZ LADA VAS IN ENGLAND < RIVA

  • Los autos rusos fueron muy populares en Chile, por su bajo precio.

  • Great documentary about VAZ(LADA).

  • very good show here i liked it alot.we in America or middle east dont know too much about how the russian car manufacturers design, production & marketing. After seen this show i understood fully the concept of making better cars, what had happened when the U.S. car manufacturers went thru late 70's to mid 90's when japan dominated car sales in america.now with world economic crisis & high unemployment, the cheaper priced cars will dominate the people's car market again,..From Iraq..El Toro.

  • very intersting! ladas where imported here to brazil in the 90's, the 2105 (called Laika here), the niva and the samara, the most successful was the niva, but because our currency variation at the time and change of importation taxes they stop selling here in the late 90's, but you can still find some.. the nivas are very apreciated as inexpensive very good offroaders.

  • old ones look like packards

  • Yes! Because Stalin liked packards.

When packard had been for sale ussr bought some of their documentation.

ZIS-110 of 1944 is improuved copy of packard (new body and more metal).

ZIL-111 (one name for some different cars in 1956-1964) is licenced copy of packard.

  • i am dont вкупаю, what is the fuckind shit sayd about russion TOPOL-M? are your ready for atomic war? yo are small mother...rs

  • (Brainiac83) ammmmmmm yea!! russia is part of europe.... ther is european part and asian

  • The Ural mountains seperate European and Asian Russia.

  • Les gens qui insultent Lada sont des ignorants! Les voitures des l'ex-urss ont une grande histoire. Lada est une grande marque incomprise par le monde occidental.

J'ai une 2103 de 1977, et elle roule parfaitement!

    LADA FOREVER!

  • I do agree to the statement has been posted in here that russian cars suck. They have been used the old italian conceptions without any upgrade for 25 years

  • those old lada's look really cool, i want one :( lol

  • Russia dosent make better cars because moust can`t buy,so they build these pieces of shit instead, stupid ruskies buy the new Corolla instead

  • VAZ 2101, 2102 and 2103 are plagiaristic vehicles, which are made as FIAT models. It is clearly said in this review also it was no longer a secret to anybody before.

But I wonder, except Pobeda car to some extent, what does russian car manufacturer invent by itself?

  • You dumbass, Lada was not "plagiaristic". Italians sold Fiat licence to soviets and helped to install all production line. Seat in Spain, Poland and many other countries also made Fiat copies.

  • Fuck you lithuanian lil' prick. Freak. Turd. Did I clearly say that I did hate something? No, i just hinted. Ha-ha. By the way do you proud of your little country? And exactly what?

  • There was a car called a Polski Fiat(Polish Fiat) and Volga Avto Zavod(Volga Auto Works)both built by FIAT under license.

  • They iinvented T34 :))

  • ye thats something im not proud of russia for.. they starded to import cars. i love the old original european cars they are good like the lada, nive, volga, uaz stuff like that

  • Long live the Lada. I know some eastern european countries have to ban the car or it will stay on the roads forever. Why is cool to drive an old crappy beatle but not a classic Lada?

  • suck my red big communist dick bitch ass yankee

  • it's going to be hard to compete with west when a technology transfer is restricted. western countries share the hi tech but russia some how is out of the cyrcle.

  • It's loooong way for Russia to compete West.

  • the only reason russian cars are crap in america is because they were not build for the warm climate of america. i like the moskovich and gaz.

  • did anyone know that Russia created a bullet proof car? its kinda weird but i like it :P

  • I love russian cars but only from soviet era :)

  • I love Czech cars. Also from the Soviet era. Bit I also like lada, moskvich and ZAZ.. (the old ones)

  • @jasiuss there's no such thing as russian cars

  • @jasiuss They piqued my curiosity as well. Isn't Lada still in production?

  • Of course it is

  • RUSSIA!!!!!

  • they burn 87 petrol. not hydrogen or kerosene

  • The Russian surely can improve their local car industry. The Ladas and the Volgas are suited to the rough Russian highways. The car industry can be a major employer for the Russian workfore. Good for a re-emerging economic power!

  • kris, you are right. quality should be job number one. then russia can compete with the west. they have a long way to go in a short time though, but russia will get there. they are capable of impressive things, given a free hand

  • Росавтопром- forever

  • killer simpsons quote

  • AvtoVaz is improving. Hopefully they can shake their reputation by building consumer confidence.

  • lada power!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
