I have been disfellowshipped twice and regret that I just did not go through the high waves when it was hard. I know for a fact if I don't somehow or am not able to get back , a bottle of sleeping pills with some chardonnay will do. I know it's the truth, and it's the only thing out there that makes sense. It is strict however it is extremely rewarding. People slave away on all of this easter and christmas garbage and the next day they are as their ugly evil selfish person as usual.

I just got re-instated on March 20. I knew it's the truth and couldn't imagine living without it, so I finally planted my butt in the kingdom hall for every meeting. Even thought I was still practicing bad things, God did not ignore my plea for help. I didn't trust myself, and doubted whether I was able to make the committment to return. But I reasoned that I had ALREADY committed myself at my baptism, so it's NEVER too soon to try to follow through on it.

The Bible teaches that Jesus is the mediator between God and men, according to 1 Timothy 2:5, and that is what Jehovah's Witnesses believe in, since we accept the scriptures as God's inspired word. 2 Tim. 3:16,17. Interesting that you read that but that belief is not what the Witnesses teach. Instead, ask and elder if it means all Witnesses or just the anointed, that Jesus is the mediator for. If not for all Witnesses, then why?

Jehovah's Witnesses, on the other hand, believe that Jehovah is the Almighty God, (Psalms 83:18) and that Jesus Christ is the Son of the Almighty.(Luke 1:31,32)
They are two separate persons and yes, they are "one" according to John 10:30, but the context of that verse shows Jesus was referring, not to his entity, but that he and his father are "one" in purpose. Jesus further goes on to say on verse 36 what he always claims to be, namely, "God's Son." This is further confirmed in Jesus' own statement in John 17:22, which reads,"Also, I have given them the glory that you have given me, in order that they may be one just as we are one."
Jesus prayed that the "oneness in purpose" that Jesus himself and his Father, Jehovah enjoys, would also be extended towards his apostles. In other words, Jesus was praying that his apostles would be one in purpose with him and his father, jehovah. This "oneness" in John 17:22 cannot be understood as referring to their entity, since it's impossible for the apostles and Jesus and Jehovah to be one in "person." oct31st1517 luther was so insistent on the concept of "justification by faith alone" that in his translation of the bible, he added the word "alone" to romans 3:28. He was aslo suspicious of the book of james for his statement that "faith without works is dead". He failed to recognize that in Romans, Paul was speaking of the jewish law. romans 3:19,20,28

Prior to the Watchtower Study, which is our magazine journal, there was a Bible based public talk, wherein the readers are invited several times to open their Bibles to certain Bibles scriptures.
This video is the 2nd portion of the meeting, the Watchtower Study. It discusses certain Bible topics, and it lists numerous Bible passages where the information was taken. Why not attend a meeting of Jehovah's Witnesses in your area? It's the best to do your observation. Thank you.

If studying the bible is how you define brainwashing, then we are indeed being brainwashed. At least, we are filling our minds with Jehovah's word, which Jesus referred to as "the truth" in John 17:17. Using our time this way is far more better since it helps us keep our senses and stay awake spiritually, instead of feeding on lies and misleading information that surely do not reflect any of the fruitage of Jehovah's holy spirit. How about I just read the bible? The bible is what spoke of faithful and discreet slaves. You can tell the slaves by their works and fruitage. You mention read other books but you fail to mention the book of truth. God's word the bible. After reading that then you will see that the comparison to Moses is very similar. Thank you 000266617, it was not that I was stating that they are evil, however they do put down Jehovah's Witnesses because almost 99.9% of other religions celebrate some form of the holidays, and every year I would see it, their fakeness of easter, and christmas and thanksgiving and their shallow mindness of the after effect. It was like they put on a front and try to display kindness but only for a few days of the year.

I have been disfellowshipped twice and regret that I just did not go through the high waves when it was hard. I know for a fact if I don't somehow or am not able to get back , a bottle of sleeping pills with some chardonnay will do. I know it's the truth, and it's the only thing out there that makes sense. It is strict however it is extremely rewarding. People slave away on all of this easter and christmas garbage and the next day they are as their ugly evil selfish person as usual.

No, not happy when he left, no. It's seems that from experience he found people hypocritical who act friendly during holidays like Christmas and mean as usual afterwards. The religion doesn't put down others, but using scriptures shows holidays as pagan and not practiced by the early Christians. He was disfellowshipped twice and so feels discouraged, but he can return. "Return to me and I will return to you" God says. He wrote "it is extremely rewarding" Don't put words in his mouth.

What do you mean "put down others"? They point out unscriptural beliefs or why they and Christians shouldn't practice certain beliefs. In the early days Witnesses dropped the cross and other unscriptual things from their own religion. Allyvania knows he can repent and return. I did, and the three MEN go by scriptual guidelines as outlined in the bible (with Paul and the early Church) when disfellowshipping. Besides, anyone disfellowshipped can repent and be reinstated. It's not like they are kicked out forever. The people who become JW's know disfellowhipping offensives before they commit themselves. They knew the law.

I just got re-instated on March 20. I knew it's the truth and couldn't imagine living without it, so I finally planted my butt in the kingdom hall for every meeting. Even thought I was still practicing bad things, God did not ignore my plea for help. I didn't trust myself, and doubted whether I was able to make the committment to return. But I reasoned that I had ALREADY committed myself at my baptism, so it's NEVER too soon to try to follow through on it.
JEHOVAH PROVED MERCIFUL.

The Bible teaches that Jesus is the mediator between God and men, according to 1 Timothy 2:5, and that is what Jehovah's Witnesses believe in, since we accept the scriptures as God's inspired word. 2 Tim. 3:16,17. I don't intend to discuss my faith or our whole beliefs through comments in my video. How can you rewright the bible and say it's the inspired word of God? You believe one and not the other? How do you make Jesus a regular person whe n Jesus is Lord

Hi oaktownstomp. What do you mean by rewrite the bible and say it's inspired? Are you referring to the continous printing of Bibles in different languages? As long as the original information is retained, it would not matter to reproduce them right? And what do you mean by making Jesus a regular person when Jesus is Lord? I don't think that subject ever came up in my video. Please clarify. thanks.

This is what I mean Jesus and Jehovah and the holy spirit the trinity is all the same all rewrites are not inspired by god how can it be when there is only one bible, which has been translated and rewrote for people to use to serve there own purpose.

Thanks for the clarification oaktownstomp. Based on your own comments I can see that you are a firm believer of the Trinity doctrine. In any case, I respect your belief. Jehovah's Witnesses, on the other hand, believe that Jehovah is the Almighty God, (Psalms 83:18) and that Jesus Christ is the Son of the Almighty.(Luke 1:31,32)

They are two separate persons and yes, they are "one" according to John 10:30, but the context of that verse shows Jesus was referring, not to his entity, but that he and his father are "one" in purpose. Jesus further goes on to say on verse 36 what he always claims to be, namely, "God's Son." This is further confirmed in Jesus' own statement in John 17:22, which reads,"Also, I have given them the glory that you have given me, in order that they may be one just as we are one."

Jesus prayed that the "oneness in purpose" that Jesus himself and his Father, Jehovah enjoys, would also be extended towards his apostles. In other words, Jesus was praying that his apostles would be one in purpose with him and his father, jehovah. This "oneness" in John 17:22 cannot be understood as referring to their entity, since it's impossible for the apostles and Jesus and Jehovah to be one in "person." For more information, please talk to Jehovah's Witnesses when they knock on your door.

i know that an armie man and solder went to the memorial and became a jw and a preist said he learned more than he ever have at the jw hall during memorial he said he learned much more than he have at church for at least 40 years

We are to make Jesus name known, just as the apostles and dsciples did...the JW is not known for preaching Christ and Christ impaled..they are known for many things but not for being a disciple of Jesus..having been a JW for 32 years, I never knew my precious Lord and Savior..for 32 yrs I was without my dear Lord and Savior..I now know the am in the real truth...Christ Jesus.

oct31st1517 luther was so insistent on the concept of "justification by faith alone" that in his translation of the bible, he added the word "alone" to romans 3:28. He was aslo suspicious of the book of james for his statement that "faith without works is dead". He failed to recognize that in Romans, Paul was speaking of the jewish law. romans 3:19,20,28

Hi there, thank you for your comment. I wasn't able to get the Bible book in the video, if that was what you were referring to. Prior to the Watchtower Study, which is our magazine journal, there was a Bible based public talk, wherein the readers are invited several times to open their Bibles to certain Bibles scriptures.

This video is the 2nd portion of the meeting, the Watchtower Study. It discusses certain Bible topics, and it lists numerous Bible passages where the information was taken. Why not attend a meeting of Jehovah's Witnesses in your area? It's the best to do your observation. Thank you.

If I were satan, I would create a religion that looks so close to the true one, that even true christians would have a hard time telling the difference. This is where I believe pentecostalism is. (Mat 24:24) JW's can be seen as false because they deny historical christianity from the start.

If your a Jehovahs witness, ask yourself If jehovah God is the one and only True God then doesnt that make jesus a false god? you may say he is a "mighty" god but it still makes him a false god. Educate yourselfs and not from the Watchtower!

You will then be enlightened as to who Jesus really is according to the scriptures. You can also request a copy of the brochure entitled, "Should You Believe in the Trinity? Is Jesus Christ the Almighty God?" published by Jehovah's Witnesses.

If studying the bible is how you define brainwashing, then we are indeed being brainwashed. At least, we are filling our minds with Jehovah's word, which Jesus referred to as "the truth" in John 17:17. Using our time this way is far more better since it helps us keep our senses and stay awake spiritually, instead of feeding on lies and misleading information that surely do not reflect any of the fruitage of Jehovah's holy spirit.
