It's like someone up top got wind of it's message and did everything possible to sabotage it, from pulling some of it's funding early on (that's why the special effects are so bad) to intentionally limiting it's release and failing to promote it it any way. it succeeded anyway because it was so fucking brilliant. Suck it, Fox!
