  • me wants one in left handed!!

  • @harmonyvegan Hey fellow Vegan! :) See if you can get one from the Pignose company if you can't find one left handed elsewhere.

  • Hi , Great playing ..methinks you play professionally, hahaha.I wanted to ask if you have changed the strings on the Pignose? I bought a yellow pignose from japan, I noticed if i hold the E string to hard with certain chords it slides out of tune a little. Also do you think I coud change the Pickup? I use it for a School show and only for one song but when I plug in to the PA it sounds like a cheapy. Any advice ? ciao

  • @candidcomment Ah thanks! No I don't play pro. Yes I have changed the strings on my Pignose. You maybe pressing on the strings too hard if tuning goes out. When you put new strings on, give them a little pull to stretch them. New strings can go out of tune quicker. If you want to change the pick-up on it, you can get a Humbucker in Single-Coil Size, so you don't have to make a bigger space in the body. Or buy a little amp with effects, instead of playing through the PA. Good luck.

  • Awesome shredding mate! And yes I would like to buy another one if it had a Floyd Rose or Kahler locking bridge that came stock with it. I got a PGG-200 that I play through an Orange Tiny Terror amp and it sounds awesome considering it's so tiny and the full scale neck is flawless! But the built-in Pignose amp doesn't sound that impressive though it can get very loud for a 9V battery.

  • @bmiranda2645

Thanks for that, always nice to hear! I only use mine without an amp when I'm out of my living room like in the kitchen, or if I just want a 5 minute mess around on it. I'd love to do a gig with mine, but not in a band. Will do though, if I do a band again. Maybe you could try and put a Floyd Rose on one yourself. :)

  • "Please excuse my playing.." Dude, you have nothing to worry about if you can play like this.

  • @WilliamsBallMusic

Thanks, nice of you to say so. When I looked at some of the other players on here, I was blown away at how brilliant some of them are. Made me remember that there is so much to learn. The learning never ends.

  • WINNING!

  • Hi! NiceSOund and Fingering!

    GreatPlaying♪

    I want this one

  • @gitarcla

Thanks for the kind words/comment. Yes it's a good little guitar, worth the money. If I had known it was going to get thousands of views, I would have at least tried to make a much better video of it. Seeing has it has had so many views, it's not worth me taking the video off now. I keep meaning to make a couple more videos, of my other guitars. Will try soon I think. ha

  • I bought one of these in metallic red about 12 years ago, I think for about £150 from Project Music in West London. It still sounds as good as the day I bought it and has never given a moments trouble, although the scratchplate screws rusted pretty soon after buying. Apart from that, a great guitar.

  • @larjanus Yes, if I had to get rid of all my guitars apart from one, I'd keep the Pignose. :-)

  • That's so fucking cool! Really good/clean playing. I'm gonna go see how much these go for.

  • @Thumpstarrr Thanks for that. I bought my Pignose off ebay for about 110 pounds second hand. I think they come up on the UK ebay every now and then. Do a search on there now and then and you can catch one, unless you just buy a new one. The one I bought just needed the bridge lowering a bit, then it was much easier to play. I play it more than any of my other guitars, including my old Gibson S.G. For a low cost guitar the neck is pretty good. Happy shopping!

  • @DoctorDoBuggerAll Mine only weighs five pounds.
