I totally agree! Hospital births are so impersonal! the babies are treated somewhat roughly, born into bright lights, and often handled by multiple people before ever being touched by their mother! Unless there is an immediate problem evident, the child should be laid on it's mother's belly while the chord is cut and such, so it can at least have that level of comfort! It has to be stressful for a baby to be born in a modern medical environment.

Most of the docters do that cz it helps some kids to breath propely. thats nothing some kids who cant breath stright way wen they come out docters have the baby upside down and slap them on thier bum not hardly tho lol. its not funy lol its true it help baby to get breath back.

the mother should hold it to see what she worked so hard for. that really makes me bad.
