How many amp turns are on this solenoid? Can you tell me if a solenoid can operate while submerged in oil? The answers would be of great use in an idea I have for a major company.

It'll work if submerged in oil, oil's not electrically conductive. Just remember to youtube it :P

you should take an accurate measure of Voltage Amperage and Horsepower / min and Torque

Plenty of torque. The Heavy flywheel keeps the rotation smooth after the power stroke.The first electric motors ever made used this principal.
