  • Two great actresses go at it and the winner is Betty Davis

  • They did a 're-make' of this, starring the Redgrave Sisters.

Those of you who remember it, raise your hand.

  • PWNED

  • I don't get the whole emma lucy thing ?

  • jerks neck* SHE LIKED IT!!!! drags feet across the floor

  • Wonderful:)

  • What I love about this is that Bette Davis didn't seem to mind looking truly flaky, bitter, and twisted- in a really harsh and unappealing way. I can't imagine many actresses today really casting their egos aside and going for it-- everyone is so obsessed with looking young and surgically altered. This is so refreshing. She's just a master actress and I love her in this movie..

  • Bette has been knwon for taking roles that don't show her beauty, but most importantly...her talent.

  • @pookoos nah, not really. u got plenty of hollywood actresses of today who "get ugly" for the right role. you got nicole kidman in "the hours," cameron diaz in "being john malkovich," charlize theron in "monster," and that one chick from "ugly betty."

  • Love ya, Bette. R.I.P.

  • Really did she like?

  • That was a good imitation Jane did of Blanch "oh really did she like it" Also ive heard that betty enjoy'ed being mean to joan because they hated each other in real life.

  • Betty Davis understood the Baby Jane character. Great actress!

  • Two of the very BEST products of the old Hollywood Star System and they were then and always will be AMAZING -- joan Crawford and Bette Davis! Talented, amazing, brilliant.

  • I read an interview with Bette Davis once in which she said not only did she do her own makeup for this movie, she would apply fresh makeup over old because she thought that was how Baby Jane would do it. She also found the wig in the old Warner Brothers wardrobe area - and it was an old one she had worn about 30 years before. It was moth-eaten and everything. Bette wanted to capture just how insane, gruesome, pathetic and, ultimately, sad Baby Jane Hudson really was. She succeeded! LOL!

  • it wasn´t Bette Davies´wig. it was Joan Crawfords!!!

  • The wig was actually one that Joan had worn years before. Bette never knew that! I heard that in a documentary on the film.

  • I can watch this scene over and over again. "Oh really, did she like it?!?!" The

    "F" ing BEST!!!

  • the best ..lol

  • I'm a massive masochist, so I'd give ANYTHING to have old Baby Jane Hudson just abuse the shit outta me. I'd be so submissive, she'd totally get off on it.

  • YOU ARE SO NAUGHTY!

  • Bette Davis was so great in these 60s horror flicks!

  • i love betty

  • I can't help but think of that "O RLY" craze when Jane makes that funny face and talks in Blanche's voice. Cracks me up.

  • Davis did her own makeup on this one and it was just as well because one artist told her if he did what she wanted him to do he was afraid he'd never work again.

  • I was watching "History of Rock" on VH1 and Alice Cooper said that his face makeup was inspired by the way Bette Davis looked in this movie, lol.

  • bette should have won a oscar for this!

  • HOW DID THEY GET THOSE TWO TO WORK TOGETHER

I WILL NEVER KNOW,THEY HATED EACH OTHER!

p.s. joan was the real Psycho bitch!

  • i thnk its the same voice just repeted

  • love it! you can't get your "gay card" unless you've seen it at least 10 times

  • yeah this is the test movie and i have my gay card...because i have this movie on dvd too ..lol

  • My sister calls me Blanch when I am being a bitch to her!

  • this movie is on the list of things to take out of the house if there is a fire. I watch this movie several times a year and know the entire script. love it love it love it

  • GREAT FVCKIN MOVIE!!! That damn Bette Davis was wild as Shyt!!! Had me laughin til I cried. ...OH REALLY, DID SHE LIKE IT... SHE LIKED IT. LOL

  • !!! omg i'm so glad someone else thought that was funny too. my friends were starting to convince me i was wacko.

this is one twisted great film.

  • Oh realy did she like it? . . . .ha, i watch this all the time. I know someone just like her. its kinda creepy. AND SHES CALLED JANE . . . DUN dun duuuuuuun

  • I love this movie. I have watched it atleast 5 times

  • Your wish is my command. Check it out.

  • hahahaah. Oh man was that so funny. Its the one scene that makes me roar with laughter. The way she walks away and gives that side glance and then waits for the reaction then finally breaking down with laughter when she gets it. That scene is pure gold.

  • One of the best parts of the movie!!!

  • Joan dubbed Bette for those lines.

  • blanche! you aren't ever going sell this house and ya aren't ever gonna leave it either!lol hilarious

  • my god, when bette says "oh really, did she like it?" it was just a perfect imitation of joan's... wow. oh god, isn't this just a brilliant film?!

  • Yeah it was. Only seen it maybe twice The first time seeing it I was hooked. The second time I saw it with a friend and we rolled around laughing. What a great movie.
