Well its just my opinion that they should change from the short to the long version like Miami did after they scored a goal, hell the team's effort deserved it and the BU fight song is great!

They could certainly do that, but the student fans have the expectation of doing their chants, too. The full fight song is still at the end of each period. I get what you're saying though. I'm sure the team knew the effort was appreciated.

Like the Miami fight song , their band does a nice job after their goals,better than BU band after their goals. Still happy BU won though, been a Terrier fan for 35 years.

Really? Don't think many would agree with you, the BU band is terrific. The problem is that you can't hear them. Wonder why that could be, was the arena loud or something? :-p

I didn't mean to knock the BU band its just that listening on TV during the Final they could have played longer and repeated the melody more like the Miami band did. I know they are good I attended many games this year, I just think that they were so shocked BU tied it late with two goals that their presentation was limited, I don't thonk the crowd noise was a factor as there were more cheering for Miami and coach Parker attested to that.

There may have been more people rooting for Miami, but the building was nowhere near as loud when they scored as it was the final 3 times that BU scored, trust me, I was there. They always play the short version of the fight song when we score, then there is the drum+sieve chant.
