I've looked into the Lineage games... yes, Lineage has similar aspects to TERA, that I admit. However, Lineage looks boring as fuck: I would MUCH rather play TERA.

i played Tera closed beta and is not that awesome,yeah great graphics but from the gameplay aspect is just another boring mmo and it looks so similar with Aion it's insane.

@vanrok "Another boring MMO"... it's an MMO, there are certain things that will be the same across all MMOs, that's a given. TERA's main selling-point is the combat system, which makes it a lot more fun than other MMOs where you just stand there and press buttons to do attacks without much interactivity.

What i heard was, one of the team member that doing L3 project, betrayed the team and sold the game it to Han company, and that's why now you have Tera instead of L3.. but guys I waiting for the real L3 which is call Lineage Eternal coming soon!! keep watching!! its gonna be awesome!!

I wouldn't waste my time on either Tera or Lineage. Korean mmos require too much time and they turn the game into a full time job. Grind, grind, grind if you want to get anywhere in the game or be at least good at it.

@nreyyy3 TERA uses stolen engine / content etc that was intended for L3. (people from the project defected to BHS) They were sued for millions and lost, then China withdrew their contracts. (would have been 2nd biggest purchase (license) in gaming history. TERA has not had a strong year in Korea lol; so plz dont waste your time. Sure it'a be good for month but already went the way of Aion. Its hype comes from being A-mmorpg (the Action based mmos have all been pulling strong crowds)

Mesmo assim, Tera tem modificações menos avançadas do que o Lineage 3, mesmo sendo a NCSoft a criadora, eles sabem que o L3 compensa mais que o Tera, pois já tem fãs em todo o mundo. Tem os mesmo gráficos, mas a jogabilidades é percária, pois tem alguns error no PVP e em algumas mssões de classe.
