the whole thing probably took $1500 in material. We used alot of fill from jobs and old lumber. It was done on a very very minimal budget...

the hole wasn't really dug out. We kind of shaped fill for about 2 years, while tossing around ideas for design. once we had the shape determined, we cut templates, tied rebar and poured everything in about 3 months? three pours for the surface...long process,but wouldn't have to be...

Cement is cheap. The heavy labor is what everybody is scared of. a wood ramp would cost twice as much in materials.
