I think the testimony that the Gaithers offer by accepting someone who fell and slipped like we all do says mountains. I think Bill and Gloria follow the words of Jesus by brining Michael back into the folds of their 'family. "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone."
You can tell the love he has for God is so intense and strong. I've fallen away to a life of sin that included alcohol, self medication and more. When you are touched and welcomed into the loving arms of God after something like that life changes. I'm a writer and now I write with more passion for God. The entire video is amazing! The last few minutes is probably some of the best gospel singing I have heard, with maybe the best lineup on any given song in this modern era. An excellent lineup, song, and lead singer. Michael English is a true example of God's grace.

There are many songs that touch me and allow the Spirit to take over me. I have "favorites" that will change according to the circumstances of my life. Ones that talk to me when I am in the valley's dealing with trials or that I can just rejoice to during the times I am on a mountain. But this song never ceases to touch me, to bring me to my knees, to cause me to cry out, no matter who sings it. I am not a Michael fan but beautiful rendition!

Michael singing this brings to mind one thought I use to have. I'd imagine myself standing there with my crown, before God and His glassy sea in heaven. I'd see Jesus and out of pure love, cast my crown at His feet. A few years ago when I was talking to my daughter (approx 7-8yo at the time) she said "I can't wait to go to heaven. I think I'd cast my crown as His feet and fall and worship Him". Oh Thank you Jesus! The Spirit IS calling us to worship at the feet of Jesus (Holy! Holy! Holy!)

Hey Hoover well It has become a soap opera here in East TN...I got hurt playing softball...one of my diving catches from short....well...I have nerve damage to the L5, L4 L3 and S12 and they found after a MRI and more tests I have ...MS!!! I know nothing about MS....SO..IF anyone does I would like to know more I look on line and find little to appese my curious mind. But weare laughing even thoug I walk like TIGGER now..and with a walker BUT at least the grandson can go home now

If you compare the versions her did before he left and now, you can tell everything he's gone through in his voice! The power is so strong and the love for the Lord even stronger. Praise God Michael found his way back. And, when Michael and David blended it was Him coming through their voices! Amazing doesnt describe it, I dont think there is a word that describes it!

Although I've heard this song many times before, I have never heard it sang with so much conviction as here. The last part of this song is about as spiritual as any song can be. Bless these men. Bless Michael English for sharing so much.

Michael English and David Phelps both have powerful voices and here Michael sounded very well, however, I have doubts on whether more glory was given to the amazing instrument or the amazing Creator. I will give them the benefit of the doubt.

@Imforeverone88 I kind of understand your sentiment, but I think you have to keep in mind this was a pretty emotional moment for English and the rest given what he'd endured with his addictions, etc. While it was certainly a song of praise it was likely a joyous moment for these long time friends and that seemed to shine through the performance.

Umm it seems micheal is lipsyncing at the end of the song, I can imagine why, Its a pwerful song and takes alot out of you, but at 7:14 to 7:18 it seems he is, might be wrong though.

Micheal and I have alot in common,my dad is a Baptist preacher and I went threw alot in the christian faith saw alot of horrible things happening to my dad and to the christianity.
I left the church and God for about 20 years but I am now trying to come back

My uncle and my grandmother passed away this last year. And as much as I want to see them, I want to see Jesus so much more. I love this song. I'm assuming Bill and Gloria Gaither wrote this, but if I'm wrong, it doesn't matter. This song is anointed! What a hope we have in Jesus. Also, it's good to see Michael English back. God's grace is sufficient!

There are many songs that touch me and allow the Spirit to take over me. I have "favorites" that will change according to the circumstances of my life. Ones that talk to me when I am in the valley's dealing with trials or that I can just rejoice to during the times I am on a mountain. But this song never ceases to touch me, to bring me to my knees, to cause me to cry out, no matter who sings it. I am not a Michael fan but beautiful rendition!

Michael singing this brings to mind one thought I use to have. I'd imagine myself standing there with my crown, before God and His glassy sea in heaven. I'd see Jesus and out of pure love, cast my crown at His feet. A few years ago when I was talking to my daughter (approx 7-8yo at the time) she said "I can't wait to go to heaven. I think I'd cast my crown as His feet and fall and worship Him". Oh Thank you Jesus! The Spirit IS calling us to worship at the feet of Jesus (Holy! Holy! Holy!)

Michael does not sing like he used to..he sounds better!! (to me) This week this ong has special meaning for me and my family...when you are so heart broken and you bow your head to pray and nothing comes out...GOD knows our heart..My grandson was born weighing 3lbs and my daughter almostdied having him.NOWthey are doing great and my youngest girl at 14 is losing her left foot after losing the right..My dad had a stroke...ALL THIS PAST WEEK..SO HARD TO BEAR BUT WE CAN STILL BOW ON OUR KNEES

Hey Hoover well It has become a soap opera here in East TN...I got hurt playing softball...one of my diving catches from short....well...I have nerve damage to the L5, L4 L3 and S12 and they found after a MRI and more tests I have ...MS!!! I know nothing about MS....SO..IF anyone does I would like to know more I look on line and find little to appese my curious mind. But weare laughing even thoug I walk like TIGGER now..and with a walker BUT at least the grandson can go home now
