It very beautiful music! Very well made song, and very nice voice!!! I love this!!.:-)) Thank you a lot for sharing your nice video! This happiness to hear as you sings!!!!
Honestly I don't think Keith is even on the stage for this take! The shots of Keith are EXACTLY the same at the 1st video and you never see Keith in the group shot..
I read that this song was written by Keith for his longtime love (Anita?) after they broke up and that her name was changed for musical reasons. I agree this is the best version on here! Thx!
I'm glad the Stones cut a 2nd promo for this song. Mick's voice is much clearer in this vid. than in the 1st attempt. I have a feeling back in 1973, that his vid. probably sold the song better for it to reach #1 on Billboard Magazine's HOT 11 charts.
The "Beat Show" from Germany was the best ! It seemed like every great act from the mid 60's to the early 70's performed on that show.(the Beatles being the exception)
This song brings back so many memories of my past one of those memories was a girl that I reallly loved and she move out of the state when I was a youngin.... I truly miss her thanks for posting this ... you are an awsome person!!
I've always been under the impression that Angie was written about David Bowie's wife??? Is this true? Regardless, Angie is priceless and embodies raw heart felt anguish over a declining relationship.......
''One time in the early eighties, we were doing drugs in the dressing room, and suddenly the tour manager sticks his head around the door and says; 'The police are here'. Holy shit! We all panicked, drugs were dispensed in the toilet...
Then Sting, Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland walked in.''
XD in the first one taylor plays guitar and in the second one the piano. of course he don't play them, just promotional, but it's funny to see him in the piano. don't know if it was preston or stewart the one in it, yet. really good song..
@tenmaster100 The piano is Nicky Hopkins. The reason that Taylor is playing piano in this video is a nod and a wink that his original noodling on the piano is how this song got its musical start. This wasn't a promo video. It's from "Don Kirshner's Rock Show" which was a TV show.
Fuck..you do look like a pretty boy silly dick here Mick..but the song still rocks!

Tout simplement : une de mes chansons préférée si ce n'est ma chanson préférée.
C'est même un peu pour ça que le second prénom de mon fils est "Angy" (garçon oblige !)

Does anybody ever noticed that if you hear with a headphone you can hear someone wispering the lirics during the chorus??? It's scary...
