That's why Jill will be the main antagonist in the movie. That's also how Ada, Barry and Leon are getting involved too.

They are trying to merge the storylines of the games with the movies now so there is continuity through both of them. This way you have the main story in the games and what happens between the games is in the movies. :). Actually a great idea in my opinion.

I don't mind the storyline straying from the game, it's acceptable.. but I really don't understand why they came up with the Alica character, and made all the main characters (Jill, Chris, Leon) into secondary. IMO it's the only turn off. I wanna see Jill, Chris or Leon as the heroes.. not a character that's not even in the game. They should've killed off this Alice in at least part 3, not killing off Leon prematurely in part 2. Now the whole story just looks like AeonFlux with loads of undead.

Some people who watch movies dont really care for playing games. And just because they made a movie based on it shouldn't give it any less credit because it didnt follow the EXACT story of the game. in the RE games you basically play some one who's looking for some one else, kill shit and move on.
