You know, many People reacted hostile to this film back when it came out (and continue to despise it 15 Years later) but, in hindsight, when compared to the AVP-Flicks, its fucking Amazing!

Dan Hedaya's death and the hybrid baby thing's death at the end had me laughing so hard when I saw this film . This movie needs to be viewed as a guilty pleasure, so-bad-it's-good film. It is so over-the-top and ridiculous that you can't help but laugh at it.

@KimPimSlim From what I know about it, it's not about Aliens, it's focusing on the space jockeys. The Aliens on whose ship the eggs were first found on.
@KimPimSlim It will not be about the xenomorphs at all, only the space jockeys who will be highly advanced almost god-like beings (the xenomorphs are designed by them to use as bio-weapons according to Scott, but he says they will not be in it).
A Jockey ship and chair like in the original can be seen in the trailer and pictures (and what looks like a Weyland logo before the Yutani-merger).
@xtcarnage15586 It's being made by Ridley Scott and it will mainly focus on the ship they originally found the eggs on in Alien. It looks fairly good actually, By this point we're all very familiar with the Alien and it's behaviour so little mystery now. By focussing on the ship and the space jockey we don't know what to expect.

I'm an AvP fanboy of the comics and games, and no where in those do Aliens vs predator fight in dawsons creek and in some random ice temple. It was suppose to be in the future with colonial marines. Which is why, as a fan of the AvP comics, I'm pissed Fox fucked it up. It really could've been something good.
@tonmandude I think they'll eventually reboot the movie series and make it something that's not a piece of shit. The only good things to come out of the movies are the cool predator designs and Grid.
Does anyone know if the scene with the frozen soldier is censored? I vaguely remember it being a little longer and gorier back when I saw it in the theater in 97, but the theatrical and special editions on VHS and DVD have it cut off the same place in this video. That said, maybe its just old memories playing tricks on me, but I'm just wondering if anyone else would know for sure.
What a waste of Michael Wincott...seriously...potential for the film to be let's see...infinitely badass....and they take out the only other actor besides Sigourney that could have made this film actually super awesome...
Resurrection was terrible! but i don't get the Human Alien hybrid, surely all of these Aliens are Human hybrid because they came out a Human because the one from number 3 was a Dog hybrid :L
@cd2rules The reason why they were hybrids is because they cloned ripley's dna to get the queen but their dna got spliced. So thats why Ripley's blood is also acid just like the xenomorphs and its also why that "Newborn" is around.
