However I am not a humbug lol I would like to give, but I dont think it should be the focus for christmas. Llamas are supposedly good pets, you should try to have one in your backyard, Bob (lol). You’re right; xmas is grossly commercialized. Well, I can give in to the kids…But stuff between adults, imo, s/be nothing or light fun gifts…heck, I dunno! @Fightdog Yeah, family was good at keeping the two separate. Birthday first, and then they couldn't get done with that fast enough to get into their own presents! All good, but the day was never just mine. Will be 58!..(sigh), so I just skip over them now. Hey, listen to one of my vids and let me know what you think. Bob and Rick, we arent giving material gifts this year, we cant and are just going to concentrate on the blessings that we have in our lives. After all Christmas is the celebration of God's birthday so we all should be giving gifts to him, being thankful and loving others are gifts to him. Im going to look into our family working at the homeless shelter or the battered womens shelter. Again, your laughs and smiles help warm my heart. Thank you so much! llamas are not pretty creatures. @WackaDoodleFreeZone not trying to start any problems here just a question. i have always wondered why christians use december 25 as christ bday when scripturally we know that christ was born on the 15th day of the month of Tishri, on the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles, which corresponds to the September - October timeframe of our present calendar. my other question is why have christians chose to observe this day with pagan symbols and rituals? like i said no judgement just curiosity.
