However, the religious freedom acts dictate that animals killed for religious consumption are not protected. So a Kosher plant can kill cows as they want in any inhumane way and avoid punishable law that would charge and imprison you or I which is not fair as citizens of our own country.
In islam, before killing the animal, there is prayer for the animal so that the animal can reach paradice. In western culture, cows, sheeps, pigs are taken into a slaughter factory and brutally killed through machines. Kosher is just as disgusting because animals with complex nervous systems like cows and goats are protected under humane slaughtering laws in most of the Western World. However, the religious freedom acts dictate that animals killed for religious consumption are not protected. So a Kosher plant can kill cows as they want in any inhumane way and avoid punishable law that would charge and imprison you or I which is not fair as citizens of our own country.

Im sure the animals fell plenty of pain however cutting the throat causes blood to rush out of the body resulting in cardiac arrest & blacking out from oxygen depravation to the brain. stopping blood flow to the brain will cause black outs ask any mma fighter. american slaughter houses do the same. the reason why shock to the head or trauma isn't recomended is because it sends a rush of adrenalin to the rest of the body spoiling the meat.

actually, I don't use animals for fur coats or trophies. I do eat meat (small quantities) and the stuff I buy is organic. Yes, the animal is killed immediately but the animal isn't stunned first. I think halal causes unnesaracy suffering.
