great video and love the casual straight up, no holds barred approach. can so totally relate to the topics even though I'm from the other side of the planet ;)
Did she say that she flew their families to Hawaii? I watched her speak live twice, once in Vegas, once in Chicago. She clearly said that she could not afford big CF cards so she was shooting jpeg, she was so broke! How can she book a national photographer and fly everyone to Hawaii does not add up. I think she should come up with an explanation!
@LoneTrekker2015 rich groom family? they would pay for a big wedding, not her raw pictures, plus the guy gave her her camera... he probably has some bucks
wow i can't believe i watched your whole video about and hour and 2..cool i really want to be in this business....am gonna add you as a friend..i was wondering what kinda cameras you used for this as well and do you pay youtube for all this long videos ? do you do live on youtube?
how do i make this video one my favorite... am trying to get into video photography business because i loved it and decided to make it a career...also sub u hope we can be friends ... i want to know how you make your video live on line did you pay youtube for it and is gues you payed for your account thats why you got 1 hr video length.. i hope its cool to pm u. tnx ,bronx.
At certain parts of the clips it looks as if Mr. Jarvis have had a zip to many of the champagne.. :) But great to see the live and loose atmophere encourage a interesting, informative and yet funny clip.
have you ever been to a church and thought that that pastor was speaking directly to you...........this video was made for me..........54:40.........1:17:54...........
Nice vid. I really wanted to know what kind of lenses Jasmine uses. Just like Chase she really knows how to market herself and her business. Her website is the bomb! And i guess being a guest on creativelive doesn't hurt either publicity-wise. But when she laughs... it made me wanna smash my laptop against the wall. Her being that pretty helped me through the video ;-)
Hi Chase, I saw your original broadcast live here in England at 2pm local time and loved it. I admire Jasmine very much, her humour, personality and work ethic. I've been following her blog, and yours as well, for a long time. Thanks for putting the intrrview on YouTube, it's now in my iPhone fovourites. John Wearing
@vanessamcprod Why is Chase Jarvis encouraging photographers to submit to 'invitation to hang' which is using the word perpetuity in its usage agreement?? very strange, I would Google the word if you don't know what it means. I really don't think chase himself would be happy if his image license with clients included THAT word.
i´ve tried shooting 3 weddings - for my friends of the red cross - and the strange thing is - all of them got divorced ... maybe i shouldn´t do that again ;)
@777jackman wow. i hope that wasn't a take away for you. i have immense respect for jasmine and all she does--that's why i had her on the show. if it seemed neg in any way at all, my most sincere apologies...
@777jackman I think he was joking a lot to keep the interview fun and interesting. He's got a sense of humor; also I sense he was trying to keep the ice broken since Jasmine admitted to being nervous at the beginning of the video. I didn't think he was condescending; I think he was just trying to ease the tension of being on camera. Great video...i learned so much!
Eaaaaasyyyyy on the input volume on the sound guys. Maybe a mixer with a compressor too so when girly guest burst into giggles the sound doesn't start clipping.
A good question would have been how do you keep your shots looking different from wedding to wedding so that the weddings you shoot don't all start looking the same?
Audio? What happend

You talk far too much about yourself for this to be an interview about Jasmine

You may want to say the full name being B&H photo as B&H in england, ireland and most of europe is a popular brand of cigarettes. "I love B&H"

Chase is great with how he handles and talks to people, Never makes them feel lesser or puts himself above them. Great persona.

May be it's just my imagination but wasn't he mocking her during all the interview?
He was talking to her condescendingly. Dude, you are the best there is no need for you to talk to somebody this way.
