the question i have is: why do priest heals have to be so out of line with the other classes? Either its something the player has to do themselves (lightwell) or something the player is trained not to do (stand in the fire)

There's no denying that it's an amazing throughput bonus (in fact, I don't think there's a single "bad" T12 set bonus, really), and that the graphic is extremely pretty... I do, however think it looks too much like a generic encounter mechanic "bad thing". That's a wider problem than just this spell, though, I suppose; I do feel something needs doing about differentiating between good and bad spells graphically.

I'm so screwed! My raid life-span has just been shortened by 10,000% because I'll inevitably stand in "bad" fire while avoiding "good" fire

its a smart spell too (to a point, it has some bad luck of timing when it chooses to proc and everybody is full health *cough* putting out buffs, and then when everyone could use a boost it is nowhere to be found :P) it wont just heal one person if they have a respectable ammount of health. having it fight recount with shadowfiend is a little frustrating and the fact that you cant see the healing it puts out because it is considered your pet. Anyway..on a Bethtilac 10 man fight it did about 600k

Cool. I am just hanging out for when I can afford the last bits to get the 4 set. I kind of think it has a good looking effect. It's unobtrusive so people are unlikely to notice it and think they have to run around it, or get out of it in the event it lands at their feet. Well thought out by Blizz.

There's nothing "silly" about the priest 4 piece, nor does it have anything else to do with the rest of the expansion.

im only reflecting my feelings... this is youtube, welcome! and the animations for the caulktalizing flames... look unimpressive, quite unnoticable. Raidwise? fairelands has some fun mechanics, but WAY too much trash, even having a... u must kill alot of trash to spawn him boss... is quite silly.

If Kotor or GW2 came out right now, im guessing half the player base would leave wow.

Firelands is clearable in 4 hours (1 usual raid night, and probably less, we just take alot of breaks/try for heroic progress bit by bit ) on reg, there isnt THAT much trash, at least not enough to hinder prgression

I think i'll be going with 2 piece healing and 2 piece shadow, the effect you get from it just isn't worth what you put in.

@Holmesy87 Uh, no. 4pc is basically completely amazing and a huge buff to any priest's healing. 6-10% passive healing boost? Yeah, you'd have to be kinda silly not to go for that.

What kind of range does it have? More often than not it'll proc and people will just ignore it, like the lightwell.

@Holmesy87 When you heal someone, it has a chance of proccing. People don't need to do anything specific for it. It'll pick a target within 20 yards and heal a target every second for 5 seconds.

It was even in the forums that priest can pretty much double dip into their sets, that's why Blizzard added the "while in Shadowform" bit to the set.

The Cauterizing Flame is an affect that healing has a chance to give by having 4 peices of tier 12 gear on when you heal, from my perspecive of healing it is all very good but as of yet i am still unsure as to wether it is a bit of a let down for the effort required to get it... all the same, as a priest free healing is good healing :3
