During it you see people talk about Chavez and one lady shows how in local grocery stores/markets on food they put on the packages different Constitution amendments and they gave out FREE pocket Venezuela Constitution's. That doesn't make any sense. Chavez was democratically elected each time and not by a coup. He did try a coup but it failed and he turned himself in and went to jail. Later the president he tried to over throw pardoned him and he started doing politics the right way at the grass root level and got support by the people. He has a National Assembly (think our Congress and Senate only together) and a Supreme Court and a Constitution.

Unfortunately for the people who like to throw around the word "dictator", it does have an English definition. Hate him or love him, Chavez was elected with extremely high support (mostly from the poor) in democratic elections. Call him what you want, but hes no kind of dictator.

Chavez wasn't anti-U.S. he was anti-neocon and neoliberal. He was friendly with Clinton as well. They would sometimes talk on the phone and during Hurricane Katrina he offered to send cheap gas and oil but of course Bush cared more about himself than the people who could have used the help.

Yes they did. Fidel was sill president at the time and he offered to send over dr's. They don't have much but they have amazing dr's and a great medical program. Even people from other countries go there for school. Sadly a lot of the people in D.C. are stuck in "Cold War" era. A perfect example is Condi Rice who is supposed to be an expert in Russia...during the "Cold War." I bet she couldn't tell you a damn thing about Russia and now sadly.
