  • will this exhaust fit on a hyosung gt250r? if it does, wear can i buy it from, like what kind of Screaming Demon it is exactly? great video by the way

  • Can SO tell that you haven't got the jets done too :P

  • @produKtNZ Hehe yea, I was going to do them but I sold it when I bought a CBR954. But recently I picked up another 250 not running for cheap thats a project and I will be doing the jets in that one.

  • @akeizm I only knew that because I also had to use the throttle to get the thing to start :P

The cost of the jets was WAAY to expensive, but I've moved a lot of power to the upper end of the rev-range, which makes the bike feel distinctly ... 2-stroke :)

  • @produKtNZ I would love to get a cheap NSR250 for a project, but I don't have the space :(

  • @akeizm I'd agree with you and want one aswell but I simply cannot stand the sound of a 2-stroke =|

  • @produKtNZ 2 strokes are the best sounding bikes around. (dont fuck with me sound lol) a 250 four like the cbr will get fucked by a 125 two stroke in every aspect. a 250 2stroke single is an easy 50hp. a vtwin 250 is 70+hp. whilst a four cylinder 4 stroke engine is turning 14,5-16k rpm for peak power (45hp) with huge over rev of 18,5(cbr250 redlines at 18,5k no matter the model and its proven the limiter kicks in. honda copped shit for having the tacho read 19k when its wrong but anyway)

  • @produKtNZ im going to cop shit for saying cbr's dont rev past 18,500. if you dont believe me go run through the circuit to the tacho. the limiter kicks in at 18,500 rpm. i have heard people have had fzr250's (with limiter disabled) up to 21k rpm before it literally cant rev anyhigher. but im not sure about cbr's. theres an old racing fzr that did 21,500k but that was heavily modified. fzr like cbr and all other high revving 250 4's from that period all had the limiter at 18,5.

  • @fergus1494 I eerrrrrr, don't remember the context of this conversation

  • There's plenty of CBR's going round TradeMe in the winter. Perfect time to pick one up cheap and ship it to aus :)

  • thats the same as my pipe on my old cibbie :'( but mine was carbon fibre :P

  • I miss this little bike. I want to get another CBR250RR as a project bike.

  • They just dont even make bikes like this anymore. The new Cbr250r is a freaking joke.

  • @HoldYourBreath94 Agreed. I'm actually looking for another rough one so I have a project. It will live with my CBR954.

  • @HoldYourBreath94 Since i'm in the market for a CBR250RR, which year period would you recommend i stick to, since the newest model is a POS?

  • @TonicEnergy All the CBR250RR's from 1990 to 1996 are great bikes (only years they were made, any other that say they're 1998 for example are actually 1996 bikes just sold in 1998 as a new bike). The 1990 to 1993 models were the *unrestricted* models which had a little more HP than the 94 to 96 models due to changes in emission laws.

  • @TonicEnergy I never said the new ones were POS's... I just dont like them due to the fact that their a single cylinder 250... its like riding a wr250 dirtbike geared for the street to be honest with you lol... I just like the older bikes.. more power and well who doesnt want a bike that sounds like a freaking formula 1 car? hahahah

  • @TonicEnergy Oh and Uhh idk id say like 1992 cbr250rr... thats like my favorite year lol

  • @HoldYourBreath94 different market now. The ninja is a 20-30 year old zzr with pretty fairings to trick new riders with 0 knowledge into buying it cause it 'looks' fast. the cbr is a challenge to the second most sold bike ever(below postie bike), ninja 250r. its not actually a ninja. its a zxc250 (newest ones) and the new cbr is in truth only a cb250. Honda is purely cashing in on a huge market. Learner, cheap fuel economy and also the Asian markets where anything above 250 has huge taxes.

  • Does anyone know where I can get one in Australia?

  • @blakerook There is a company in Perth who sells them. They were selling them on eBay. Google Screaming Demon and the 1st result is the Australian Website for them

  • what type of screaming demond is this exhaust? do you do any other modification towards the bike?

    it sounds waaayyy too awesome..

  • @GlennNirwan75 No other mods in relation to engine and exhaust.

  • aw yeah i forgot to ask if this was a straight through race can or does it have a baffle?

  • @mena632 single baffle. so basically straight through.

  • @mena632 Has a baffle, but it's pretty much a straight though pipe though.

  • did it add any noticeable power? and did you have to change your jetting?

  • whats louder this or carbon fibre?

  • @VietnameseBeer

    Wouldn't have a clue sorry.

  • @akeizm I have the carbon fibre yoshimura, i'd have to say the screaming demon is (:

  • @VietnameseBeer carbon fiber man, i just got the it,

    watch...

    /watch?v=U5QoCKiusrs

  • @VietnameseBeer Carbon is slightly quieter

  • @VietnameseBeer i think these are pretty good for 250's, better than carbon fibre imo. i got a sansei racing exhaust and i think its louder than this just been repacked, same bike, and its pretty loud thinking of getting rid of it

  • @VietnameseBeer Carbon is a tiny bit quieter

  • @VietnameseBeer I have got the carbon fibre screaming demon exhaust (abit longer than the one in this video) and fuck me it is loud and I mean properly loud. I have to idle as much as possible in a under cover carpark just so people don't think I'm showing off or being an idiot but I do tend to give abit of throttle :=D

  • @VietnameseBeer Carbon fibre is smoother but screaming demons are gruntier.

  • i have the same one but carbon fiber and it's sound really good, sounds quite different to this one, dunno why, i would advice it to anyone, my bike now is quite lighter, faster, safer coz of the sound!

  • Hey mate. Just wanted to know where you got the LED tacho from or did you make it?

  • @mentok69

Hey mate, sorry for the very late reply. youtube wouldn't post. Anyway it's called an Shift-I and I bought it from Ecliptech (1st result in google, youtube won't let me link the url)

It's not only a rev meter it's also a battery voltage gauge. Which you can see it displaying when I first turn the key on the bike.
