  • Change the shutter speed after advancing the camera, also your serial number indicates a 1980 build date

  • Love that box!

  • PURCHASE FROM ++ blyatnikov ++++

    - ALWAYS CHECKED(TESTED) CAMERAS

  • Hi to caitlinx54:

It does use regular 35 mm film. I have this type, a FED 2, and a Kiev 4. I have found the optics surprisingly clear, Both take beautiful pictures. The FED 2 is small enough to carry in your pocket, though it's no digital battery operated toy. I have used mine without the case; of course I'm careful when I carry it, but I want it to be ready without having to open the cumbersome leather case.

  • Hi, I just bought one too... And I was wondering what kind of film it uses? Regular 35mm?

  • Лошара, блин! У меня аж сержце замирало когда он выдержки менял!

Pure FED! Never ever do it again! A terrible movie for FED-owners :)

  • 3:33-3:40

    is him do correctly?

  • do not change shutter speed before you roll film

    roll film-change speed-expose!!!!

Remember it or you will broke your camera!

    Russian here :D

  • @Unzaman you are right :-)

  • HI i read something online which you might like to know..

Always cock the shutter before setting the speed. Never set the speed first or you damage the shutter permanently.

  • NEVER select a speed on a Russian rangefinder before the shutter has been cocked! You're going to break your camera!

  • @Yves1968 that is true. In the film it is shown FALSE. This is the fact with ALL Soviet cameras. Same with Kiev!

  • something important:

set the speed AFTER you have wound!

(changing the speed before shutter is advanced can result in a serious damage of the shutter)

  • Да конечно y Не плохо xDD

  • Hope it will be a digital version on market in future : )
