I've seen Tony play. I really like the passion he plays the game with. A main skill I admire is his clapping ability in the face of others as he makes plays.
watched him play in state championship, not impressed at all, no work ethic or desire in the game... just complaining as a sophomore, thinks he is to legit... well give him state champion runner up
I don't even know, just write to me, in 3-4 years telling me where he is playing, if he's a pro, then u were right. but i don't think he is going to be a pro.
Dude he needs to come to louisville w his boy Peyton Siva! We'd have him peyton and jeremy tyler on the same team we would be sick!! It's be like ucla back in the 70's!
Abdul Gaddy is one & done. His decision should have very little impact on where Wroten heads. TW would be foolish to go to a floundering basketball program like UW, just because Gaddy backed out on AZ after Olsen retired.
Wat the hell are you guys talking about he hasnt even talked about college yet hes only a sophomore and if he goes anywhere its prolly gonna be the UW like NAte i no this guys cousin to not the one thats nate
"If he goes anywhere"? NBA is not an option for him, son. He will play in college. I honestly think he would be wasted at UW. No chance of a deep tourney run. Zero national exposure. Unproven flash-in-the pan coach. If the situation is right, he should head to Westwood, Chapel Hill, Lawrence, or Storrs & showcase himself for 2 years. A kid like that deserves the lights....look how horribly Spencer Hawes decision to go to UW turned out.
yeah because it is a waste to stay home and make a name for himself. and uw has been in the sweet 16 a few times recently so to say they are garbage is just plain stupid.
your saying that with Isaiah Thomas, Abdul Gaddy, and possibly Josh Smith, to go along with Wroten that Washington wouldn't do anything in the tourney???? they might be the most talented team in the country if those four players are on the court which is a possibility. We rep our region and stand by it. We dont sell out!
Hawes was hurt as a freshman, and he should have stayed another year. That's not on the UW. Oh, and despite having no tourney run and "zero national exposure," Hawes was still taken 10th in the draft. Yeah, going to UW really hurt him.
his cousin is nate robinson who bleeds purple and gold. his dad was a tight end on a rose bowl winner for the huskies. hes related to the only player to be mvp of a rose and orange bowl for washington j robinson. his mom was a track star at washington. his aunt is the garfield girls coach and former harlem globetrotter joyce walker.
He lists Washington and then a bunch of eastcoast schools. no ucla. no kansas. no arizona.
washington has the inside track on this guy. knock on wood.
Talking about washington here. Didn't ya'll say that ya'll were gettin Terrence Williams? Then Peyton Siva? Louisville is about to take another Seattle prospect in Aaron Dotson. Tony Wroten will be coming to the ville, all the Seattle talents know where to go.
this guy is only a year older then me... the varsity basketball team i play on the best player there played in an olympic league game with this guy and scored 20. his brther plays college ball. wroten scored 33
Why would he want to be anything like ROY and All-star Brandon Roy??? Romar has more first round draft picks in the last three years than any other coach. Fact. Plus both of his parents graduated from the University of Washington and want to see him play. Your really fuckin pathetic you know that bronco
Really fuckin pathetic huh? just another pissed off husky fan. I'd be pissed too if my football and basketball programs were in shambles. Let him play for a team that wins games.
I'm not pissed off bronco. I have no reason to be. UWFootball is coming back. We got the best QB in the pac10 and are about to show the nation we are back; it all starts on August 30th. You see bronco, we have tradition at washington (7 rosebowls), and programs go through rough times, but we'll be back. Just wait and see. UWBasketball is gonna be fighting with UCLA this year for the title; I'll be more than happy to eat crow if I'm wrong, but I know I'm not.Don't tell me your a BSU fan??
You said "more first round draft picks in the last three years." Nate Robinson was drafted in 2005, which last time I counted, was 4 drafts ago. I think my research is fine.
This kid is for real...We are coming for u... Tired of all u Seattle boys doing the damn thing...Naw for real keep doing what u do... My son and I keeps tabs on you..Great job..

No shooting ability and let's see what he will do when he will not be able to grab his own rebounds.

More first round picks than any other coach? Definitely not a "fact."
I count two (Hawes and Roy). Howland has four (Westbrook, Love, Afflalo, Farmar).
jpthomas2232 3 years ago
Nate Robinson was a first round pick

and Martell Webster was commited to UW before bolting to the league; but your right; Howland has one more after this years draft.
