@shazam99 yeah...from what it looks in this video it does look ok, did you know the tv the tournament was on had a 1 second lag? and that they decided to ban Cage at the last moment...
@mitzanu2007 i played a few matches in the fights they did before the tournament, there was no lag, only more to take in as it was on a huge screen, no matter how much slowdown certainly not a whole second, was a real fun tourney to watch too! :)
@mitzanu2007 check the forums - Cage was banned because there was a glitch in the demo that could make him unbeatable. Fair enough I say...Let's face it, if you can't play another character, you shouldn't be competing :)
@Precious9Luv yes, but they decided to ban him there on the spot, why bother announcing the players?! that would be dumb, of course players should travel a few 1000 km to find out they CANT FUCKIN PLAY
@mitzanu2007 how would having 1 character out of 16 not usable make them unable to play? its exactly the same as in the old sf2 tournaments when akuma was banned for being broken, people still played, i saw some people using jax/reptile despite not using them before, but still standing a good chance as they were just great players :)
@MetalheadGamers ok...lets you go to a tournament for *insert game here*,you spend money on a plane ticket hotel room all that, you are a *insert character here* player, you go to the tournament stage and when it comes your turn to play all ready and hyped, one of the tournament staff tells you that you cant choose that character cause its banned,i dont have anything against banning characters,i have something against banning characters on the spot without a prior warning, like Bulgarian guy
@mitzanu2007 you mean Belgian guy - no one from Bulgaria there. All the players actually mixed and matched their characters through practice games and tournament. JD, the irish guy, being a prime example of a pro-player who was amazing with any character he chose. BTW NETHEREALM / WARNER BROS CONTACTED PLAYERS WELL BEFORE TO SAY JOHNNY CAGE WAS INELIGIBLE - the fact that the "Belgian" guy didn't check his email like everyone else is not their fault lol...
@mitzanu2007 warner bros payed for the travel of all the finalists, as well as a guest of their choice, players were notified before via email about johnny cage being banned, from where i'm standing you don't have a leg to stand on buddy
@mitzanu2007 Belgian guy didn't spend money on a plane ticket or hotel. Warner Bros paid. FACT! All competitors were sent an email notifying of the competition change by Warner Bros. FACT!
Warners appreciate one person was disappointed. But don't perpetuate lies. Thanks.
@mitzanu2007 Players WERE notified by Warner Bros - the player in question didn't check his email - that's why he was the only player who was complaining. Btw, he's Belgian and didn't travel 1000's of km...a few 100 maybe ;)
LOL, seriously, where did you get your info? Im that Belgian guy, and believe me, WB did NOT send us any email. You know when they informed me? When i was about to play my first match when i got on stage ... After complaining they said we posted it on FB ... I checked it when i got home ... Wanna know when they posted it? 30 Minuts after the European Tournament began.
lol i'm friends with ryan on xbl, he is fucking insane at mk9. When he said he won the european tournament i didn't believe him but wow, he did.
