This video made me Awhh that fish is soooooo cute!! and 10 gallons is perfectly fine for that goldfish, but did you not hear the man, he said 'I definitely plan on upgrading'.
Oh my god I love your fish tank. It looks beautiful. I had the same goldfish and two days after I got him my water was instantly cloudy. I found out that the goldfish are dirty fish. So be prepared to clean the tank and change the water a lot. Personally, I would suggest getting rid of that fish and getting neon tetras, guppies, some kind of shark, or something along those lines. Your tank not only will be cleaner but it also would be healthier. But loved the fish tank to pieces(:
nice ass tank but gold fish are gross they produce lot of ammonia and the produce a lot of waste there very "dirty fish" you could get a heater and get a beautiful school of 10 neon tetras and there very clean and dont shit all day like gold fish all ten would produce less waste then one your one goldfish...
hi i have a ten gallon tank with a goldfish thats a black moor and i got him about two weeks ago and he is fine but he is alone in the tank do you think that i should upgrade and get him some budys
So cute! An excellent example of a simple, healthy tank. Be careful adding fish. It is so easy to introduce illnesses- even if you buy from decent dealers! I would get your upgrade now, and use this one as a quarantine.
Very nice set up. Beautiful fish. I have a 12 gallon eclipse with 2 comets and a minnow. If the goldys outgrow the tank, I'll just upgrade. But right now their happy. (-:
love your tank! its so clean. im about to buy a 10gallon fish tank for 2goldfish (fantail and a comet) and i was wondering about how much do they cost? also what filter do you use and would it be possible to turn off the air pump at night as its going to be in my bedroom? :B
your fish will be very healthy because it the only fish in the thank and that all your ment to in a 10 gallon tank> I have an 10 gallon tank with to goldfish in it a comet and a fan-tail
nice tank!....i just got a 10 gallon tank about a week ago and i put a Spongebob theme into it.....a lil Bikini Bottom feeling...hahaha.....but anywaise....i bought 4 goldfishes and dropped em in there......I know for a matter of fact its 10 gallons per fish....but i was like "EFF it..th more the merrier"....haha...but yea...when they get bigger imma get a new tank......thinkin of upgrading to a 40 gallon.....or 55.....whatever i can get a good deal on.....but yea man good set up...
i'm looking into a 20-30 gallon tank by the end of January...hes gotten much bigger that the video...its been 10months by now (12/09)...Thanks every1 for the comments:)...will deff post a quick video once i get his new Tank;
hey nice tank! agree with one of the posters about buying the biggest tank u can get. i started from a 20 gallon and then jumped to a 55 a few months later. not only does it allow you to add more fish, but it dilutes more fish waste due to the size.
yeah they do eat them BUT the water will get twice as dirty as with fake plants looks prettier and not as messy:p...i personally do a water change twice a month since hes only 1 goldfish
@Rigoberto4891 actually, live plants keep the tank cleaner except for the fact that they introduce more algae to the tank, which at low low levels is good to have.
no i havent yet!...but soon i hope to...and im planning on upgrading to a bigger tank 20 Gallons so im sure to ge one more. Hes grown soo much, i will do one more video soon to show his growth:)
Get a 29 gal if you can afford it. Then it will last you longer when the other one grows. That take is so pretty! I can never get mine to look just how I wanted them.
it is recommend that u cycle it for at least 48hrs...but 24hrs is a must. Make sure you leave the filter and air pump up and running, and you must wait at least 1 month before the first water change...and remember always use conditioner before adding new water to the tank...your new "family member: will love you for it:)
when you get an upgrade, can i have your old tank? lol

Your tank is too small for goldfish. Do some research. it needs to be twice the size at the very least

Charlies not a very good swimmer :(
I reccomend that you get a tank that is bigger but much longer than tall. He would be able to swim to the surface easier.

those all plastic plants?
i hear that its better to have real one because they give off OXygen
MetalHeart8787 2 years ago
yes, but the fish do eat them
phantomisle 2 years ago
is that bad if they eat the plants though?
I had a real two & my fish never (I dont think) ate any of it. got rid of them cause they were
not easy to plant, keep at the bottom.
