  • What the heck is "You couldn't fill a 128 bit storage pool without boiling the oceans"?

  • This video is now very outdated, and some of the information is incorrect. ZFS isn't supported on MacOSX, for example.

  • Thanks a lot for that information!!

  • With the username dell1032, you're knowledge of file systems is pretty darn impressive? Comp Sci? I also notice OS X 10, very impressive technical OS. Does Leopard still do prebinding?

  • I believe prebinding was deprecated as of Mac OS version 10.4. Yes, I am taking a break from my studies in computer science (got some bills to pay). Wikipedia and Arstechnica's Jon Stokes and John Siracusa go a long way in furthering my understanding of hardware and software in the real-world.

  • Won't support full-support...i.e., no booting from ZFS.

  • Where'd you get your wallpaper from?

  • This particular wallpaper comes from my friend's Flickr account. I'm not comfortable publishing his information here as he has some photos of his family on his Flickr as well. Most of my other backgrounds come from interfacelift [dot] com.

  • I LOL'd so hard at the 3:56 point... "Asian Animal Lovers" '17 Gigibytes, 23 STEAMY HOT MINUTES!!!!" Nice one.

  • Thank you for the good explenation!

  • great explanation man and keep up the good work!

  • Great video. What screen recording tool do you use?

  • He uses iShowU.

  • Good explanation.
