Hmm.. As you can see it flies very well in the video so I don't have the same opinion as you do.. If the balljoints are to tight then you only need to resize them. And btw, never heard of the Esky Blade actually, the E-Flite Blade on the other hand I've heard of..
@Walkera22e wicked video m8 really glad i just bought one ,,after a bit of training i may be ok ,,,any tips,,,first heli,,but own a number of nitro cars n trucks
It's a Align 430L BL motor in it in the video but I have since replaced it with a Mystery 5000kV and gone down from 3S to 2S LiPo. It flies great as long as you don't push it to hard.
I did not buy it, I made it using different heli parts and some home made parts such as the boom mount and some other alloy parts needed for the mod..
Interesting how we replace almost EVERY single part of a Walkera, receiver, motor,tx,blades, heads, except maybe for the TailBoom, landing gear, and canopy(maybe), yet, somehow, still "call it" a Walkera. . lol :) I will be doing the same over time with my 22e, I am sure. . heh, anyways AWESOME flying man!! and an Awesome "Upgrade" :)) THANKS for sharing!
I just wrote in RCUniverse 22e forum that my Walkera 22e is as far from stock as you can get it, only the landing gear and the canopy is untouched, the rest is modified or replaced with parts from other helis or with self fabricated parts.. But, as you wrote, somehow it's still my Walkera 22e :)
If you get it right the head is very nice.. I have some problems with mine due to poor quality on one part.. As you can see the heli flies but I have some serious vibrations because of this faulty part..
The seesaw holder.. The holes are off centre and this will cause the seesaw, flybar cage and flybar to sit off centre as well.. This will cause some serious vibrations if you can't balance it out properly..
what kind of pushrod are you using and what is the size of your balljoints...i'm having problem finding the pushrod for my metal head..

Did you have any problems with the linkages being too tight?
ktoddo 4 years ago
I had to rip the heli apart when I first got it to fix everything that binded in the head but the links were actually quite good from the beginning..

How did you fix the problem?, thanks in advance.

I took the seesaw holder from another head I ordered and kept the rest of the first head as spares.. :)
