  • What's the big deal? The captain just needed to clear out the Hookah smoke!

  • SHAKE IT LIKE A BOEING

  • fucking niggers singing

  • @cjvchile23 : And your point is?

  • @Bmants exactly that!!

  • thats why they don't land or take off preasurised!

  • I've done that in a Cessna 172, even that's kinda scary

  • Nice if a bird flew in the window at 150 mph. Dopes.

  • Capt clearing out the smoke from the cockpit after takin a few hits during taxiing.

  • Seeing as the 737 is painted in Boeing livery, it would be pretty safe to assume that this was a test flight of some kind, and opening the cockpit window mid takeoff was a component of said test flight. Possibly to simulate a cockpit window failure during takeoff.

  • Ale Urwał:D

  • IT's all about the Marijuana BAYBE

  • someone cut the cheese in the cocpit

  • I guess airconditioning what not working?

  • The test pilot flying maybe intentionally left the window unlatched to surprise the test co-pilot handling the check lists (prolly training) to see what his knee jerk reaction would be. From the ensuing gestures given by the Captain one has to assume the test co-pilot, anticipating an emergency circle to land, wanted to leave the gear down from the departure climb-out checklist. #abnormal behavior

  • The pilot closed his window because he was arriving at Newark Airport.

  • Hi, it is a training by the company. See the video "Boeing training video-open Window" by the author 97HKG on YouTub. The video explain this video :same pictures, same movie + analysis.

    With best wishes.

  • Prof ,pilot!!!

  • people who put music like Outkast to aviation videos are FUCKING IDIOTS

  • Comment removed

  • fucking annoying music, thank you mute button.

  • 1:30 gear up !, i said gear up you fucking idiot !!!!!!!!! haha

  • Its for a training purpose

    watch?v=NQZzTPd1HJw&feature=related

  • This is a very dangerous act. But continues to raise the ALT, If the vacuum state by high-altitude hypoxia, If I've got to have two pilots and fainting? I would never ride on this airline. In a commercial airliner, think very risky behavior.

  • @fx8150 as long as you are below 10,000 ft (3300 m) you are still okay

  • @fx8150 shut up

  • 2:04 Alright Alright Alright Alright Alright Alright Lmao

  • a/c ain't working, let's open a window!

  • watch?v=NQZzTPd1HJw&feature=related

  • I was looking for his elbow out the window, cool shades, and his baseball hat backwards...

  • @bloviblog spinner rims and chrome compressor blades

  • what a fucking asshole should be fucking fired

  • at first I thought it was some sort of strange optical illusion...that is until the cockpit vid

boy you woulda have a REAL video here if thatd ever happened at around fl300

  • Judging by the Boeing logo still on the exterior, I am going to say that this was probably a test flight of some sort...also not going that high in altitude.

  • During the first part of this video I thought the pilot was sticking his head out the window to feel the wind in his face like a dog. Talk about major ROFL!!! Too bad I figured out what was really happening. I liked my first delusion. If you watch it at 2:30 am with your mini-goggles on you can probably discern what I was seeing. Anyways, if I had the opportunity to ride the cockpit and stick my head out during the ascent, I certainly would do it.

  • purpose was to test if the window could seal if accidentally open after takeoff

  • This was clearly stage managed (just happened to be a camera both inside the cockpit and on the ground at the airport to capture the event...). Why..? For what purpose..?

  • I didnt know the pilots could open their windows. This seems dangerous. What if a lit cigarette butt is thrown out the window and sucked into an engine ? There could be a big fire in a big hurry. not good

  • @yynnmmbb

Your fear of life must be fueled by your lack of common sense.

  • @yynnmmbb Really?

  • @yynnmmbb Really? x.x And since when do pilots smoke in the cockpit?

  • When that happens on rotation, ignore it for the now; focus on the checklist to lift off, stabilize climb and raise the gear. Once that's done, delegate the flying to the other pilot and secure the window. Then alert the other pilot that you are resuming control of the aircraft.

  • Dependign on runway lenght, and the strength/airpseed the open window is rated to, an aborted takeoff was not needed or even safely possible. as u can see the captain had it under control. A few years back i had the door of a cessna break on take off, and i kept goin, it was at rotation on a 2,000 foot runway in the summer so an aborted takeoff would have ended badly.

  • just having a quick smoke lol

  • It would look even more awesome if he has put his elbow out :D

  • just seemed like a slight inconvience

  • @langleygm they are trained to ignore it as you are not allowed to do anything but fly until you have finished taking off. The nose of the aircaft is also designed so most of the air is deflected and doesnt blow in.

  • Jet plane window

  • lol

  • its test

    watch?v=NQZzTPd1HJw&feature=related

  • Somebody didn't do their checklists. :P

  • this is a training from a video. It shows what you should do if this happens

  • It's a training dumb-ass

  • rather random video

  • No wonder it takes so long to certify a new plane. They have to test every conceivable situation. They could really only test losing a cockpit window at low altitudes, because once the plane starts pressurizing you risk having everything sucked out the window.

  • @njg12345678 I have a copy of the original video from my own training course. The point of this training scenario is to show pilots that if a window does open after V1 or in the early climb (i.e critical phase of flight/high workload) then the first action is to ignore it, continue as normal, fly the aeroplane and sort it out once at a safe altitude with a reduced workload.

  • @gregaperkin Hey, do you know if this affects the presurization in any way? I mean can you continue with the presurization system in auto, close the window and do a normal climb? Or do you close the window, switch to manual or altn and land asap?

  • @orbitair If the window closes properly you can continue in Auto. So... to summarise the QRH drill; close and lock the window (may not be possible above 250kts) / if it locks into place and pressurisation is normal then do nothing else and continue. / If window doesn't lock or pressurisation is not normal then level off at lowest safe altitude, then land!

No need to switch to Manual because the cabin isn't pressurised anyway. Hope this helps.

  • @gregaperkin That makes perfect sense, thanks for your help!

  • he should have felt vomiting

  • looks like it was done on purpose. probably to test pilot to see can he still handle the loud noise and wind and still take off safely. looks like hes angry but probably shouting to co pilot on what to do.

  • Judging by the paint scheme this was a test flight done by Boeing test pilots and engineers. Very likely that window was open for a reason.

  • My uncle closes his window´s car with some wire. It really works!

  • watch?v=NQZzTPd1HJw&feature=related

  • Rule number one: Fly the airplane. well done fellas

  • just needs to go onto pimp my ride XD

  • Oh my god... Seriously with this music??!!

  • pretty noobs

  • mr bald gets angry

  • Them damn pesky check lists, who needs them.

  • This is a WTF moment... 1:17

  • i didn't know that the window on the front of airliners even open

  • @codboroks97 How do you think we go to the drive through? Or pay for airport parking?

  • 1:51 id be like oh fuck it wont close! then phew, ain't doing that again. lol

  • Comment removed

  • That's not the video's music. You could literally hear it blasting from the cockpit from the edge of the runway cause the window was open!

  • Pilot: Ah let's get some air in this shit pit!

  • as long as your below 10,000 feet there is no harm in an open window i used to fly a cessna 172 and i flew with windows open on a hot day. now an airline may get upset if you flew 737's for them and you pulled this stunt depends on the airline and the airlines pilot procedures.

  • @Ladiesman217n You were flying an 172 with windows open at 100-110kts at most, i assume. Considering a 737 takes off on average at 130-140kts and climbs out at 250kts... i wouldn't want an open window.

  • didn't know that was possible

  • Warm day, sweaty feet, sweaty armpits, who forgot to use deodrant?!

    or

Co pilot farts "smell it bitch"!

    Captain's not playing ball!

  • Well you know pilots...

    On a hot day..

    yup

  • you are aware that this was a training flight....

  • this is what happens when your copilot farts

  • @murilogazoli ya nothing like getting the smell out at 200+ knots

  • @murilogazoli I'm not even kidding, as I read this my dog farted so hard it nearly shit itself.

  • @murilogazoli hahaha

  • this is what happens when your copilot farts

  • Wata legend :D

  • He farted and he had to let it out xD

  • Could have done without the music.

  • its a BOEING AIRCRAFT TEST

  • lol it was test when the 737 900 came out they are testing to c what happens if pilot windows is open

  • watch?v=NQZzTPd1HJw&feature=related

    Thats the real video...

  • At the 'beforestart Checklist' there stands: Cockpit Windows - closed en locked?

So they hadn't done the checklist well

  • Comment removed

  • Oh that fucking music is horrible!

  • wish I could see this at 41, 000 ft.

  • The Co pilot ripped a big one! :P

  • @14CCarl - That made me laugh! Thank you

  • is that pilot mad????

  • Seeing that there is no Airlines name on the side either this was a test flight for boeing video OR with the rising cost of Jet A, the airline decided no more flighing above 12,000 and turning off the A/C and rolling down the windows LOL

  • @rcacad I cant remember to be honest, I watched it ages ago, but I think he Just undid his straps. It was the front windscreen infront of him. The conclusion was that the engineer was working on that window and put new screws in, but those screws were the wrong ones. :)

  • And I hope that the flight has been aborted!

The pilots and the passengers have been lucky for the mistake had taken place to his time adapted just in the moment of the blast-off!

If that had happened in major altitude of 18 000 feet then it would have been a tragic disaster!

  • That pilot did not look happy

  • It was a hot summer day. I usually do this on the C-152 prior the takeoff.

Looks like the captain was angry with the 1st officer.

  • Nothing wrong with having the window open on takeoff.

  • I have reported captain down's syndrome to the relvant authorities.

  • That window can't be opened at 30'000ft ;)

  • "They see me flyin' they hatin'"

I personnally don't see the big deal.

  • Love this music !

  • What's the song title?

  • @flyer203 Hey Ya by OutKast

  • @gryffindorhouse122

    Thanks a lot mate!

  • Imagine if that window had opened at FL410... This captain would have been sucked out !

  • @zorbazig Something like that has happened before with a British Airways Flight, maybe not at FL410 though.. But he survived and fully recovered! He was hanging out the window, and the copilot had to land the aircraft solo!

There is an Air Crash Investigation episode made purely on that incident :P

  • @ShamBoozleStudios Thanx for the info... Not very reassuring... But here it's obviously a test flight...

  • @zorbazig I know.. Just thought i'd let you know, that something simular to what you described happened for real :P

  • @ShamBoozleStudios your telling me 1, he wasnt strapped in and 2, he fit?

  • @rcacad Yup, he'd just taken off his shoulder straps when his side of the windshield blew off. I think he was getting up to go get something. And it's a big enough window. I don't remember the flight number, but the air crash investigation episode was called Blow Out. One of my favorite episodes.

It was right after takeoff, though, so it wasn't very high up.

  • Heyyyyy yaaaaa - you left your window open!

  • That's what happens when the captain farts at V1!!!

  • that is the elevation of the runway (QNH set on the altimeter)

  • 1:13

    1180 feet at 80 knots ?

  • @jamesxoxbond Yea thats true . because for instance In south Africa on the highveld were 5000 ft above sea level so the altimeter starts at 5000 feet. A lot of new pilots make that mistake when flying in simulators that ground level is not always at 0 feet hahaha .

  • @jamesxoxbond 1180 is ground level at this airport.

  • I'd have pissed my pants!

  • esse piloto tem merda na cabeça??? ele é loco de dexar a janela abrir?

  • gay music

  • far he knows how to do a before-takeoff checklist

  • Maybe he just wanted to spit out of window.

  • thats realy bad! people would start to suffer hypoxia if they hadn't closed it by the time they were climbing past 10 000

  • @lordlozz1 Most people wouldn't feel hypoxic until around 15-18,000'. Their ears, on the other hand, would be telling a different story

  • @highfly84 apart from the fact that you dont feel hypoxia, you experience it

  • @lordlozz1 Having worked in an air force altitude chamber for the last 5 years, I know you can feel the symptoms of hypoxia. And people don't suffer from hypoxia at 10,000'. Otherwise oxygen would be required at that altitude. ;)

  • @highfly84 the joy of the internet, everyone is an expert. It depends on your definition of hypoxia, experience, and feel. You feel altitude sickness at around 10 000' which is mostly due to decreased air pressure creating a lack of oxygen in the blood....hypoxia.....(even though not nessesarly harmfull at this altitude). You FEEL altitude sickness(assuming hypoxia is due to high altitude exposure) you EXPERIENCE hypoxia.

  • @lordlozz1 I guess YOU are not only an expert (as you say) on hypoxia, but a walking dictionary too. Thanks for the intriguing lesson on feelings, experiences, and hypoxia. I am glad I talked to someone as smart as you.

  • @highfly84 lmao

  • @lordlozz1 And yet you most probably do not use "nauseous" in the proper sense LOL!

  • @highfly84 your ears wont feel any different at sea level, 10,000 or even higher. They only detect change in pressure, apart from sound lol

  • whats the point of being able to open the cockpit windows anyways? Emergency exit?

  • After you heard "Airspeed Alive" from the FD when the window slid open so fast how fast the captain spun his head. You have to catch it quick! at 1:15

  • the co-pilot was van der fart-look him up

  • atleast he wasnt at 30'000ft

  • @Sorsby07 the window wouldnt open at FL300 the pressure at that altitude pushes against the window and seals it

  • @Sorsby07 he's out of O2 at 12000ft... :D

  • OMG LOL.....Just like your everyday car door.... Slam...slam .....SLAM....Shut. "there ya go"

  • poh!!! fecha essa janela vai estragar o ar condicionado!!!!!rsrsrsrsrsrsrs!!!!!!!!

    ótimo video!!!!

  • Maybe he got hot

  • certification test - window opening at V1. Gets "windy" but you still continue take-off, "surprised" or not.

Side windows WILL NOT open at altitude (or when pressurized).

  • Good thing it didn't happen at Mach .75, the result might have been different.

  • @pelagic6 actually it wouldnt, because the airspeed would still be the same, and plus it wouldnt because the cabin would be pressurised at that alitutde, wich is required to achieve mach .75

  • @3IDLukeK Yeah, I realize that, pressure would seal the window shut. However, there has been instances where windows have been blown out at altitude. Watch sucked from the cockpit, I think it was a BOAC flight.

  • @pelagic6 yea i know, would be cool to find out, because the airspeed is still the same (actually lower) at that high

  • @3IDLukeK Are you referring to static?

  • @pelagic6 ? well the air is just thinner

  • @pelagic6

actually that was sucked in the cockpit , it was a bangbros flight . REALLY good one

  • @kilgoretex09 lol. I think on the air crash investigation tv series it was called something like pulled from the cockpit or cockpit blowout, these also might be porno's!

  • @pelagic6 lmao

  • LOL man, it popped open on touch down too!!! Talk about a distraction! LOL Captain kept his cool. #1

  • dang it must've been so freakin loud

  • test

  • alright alright alright alright alright alright alright alright alright alright alright alright alright alright STFU! lol

  • just watching airplane videos just make me want to cry and think why cant time pass fast so i can finally be an airline pilot :'(

  • uh oh

  • did he get suckedouted?
