Because lord of the rings was written in the 1950s and all sorts of films, books, games have ripped off lord of the rings for their own benifit because they can not come up with there own ideas!.

Why did they make a movie out of Dungeon Siege? Nevermind letting Uwe Boll direct it. The game is awesome, one of my favorites, but it has almost no story at all. There is nothing there to base a movie off of.

Please do yourself a favor and don't watch it! I wanted to walk out after the first 10 minutes but I paid 9 bucks for it! :( I hadn't heard of the movie before so when I saw it was curious enough but that was my mistake. :/
