Insomniac and Naughty Dog were the 2 gaming companies that fronted PlayStation. Naughty Dog with Crash Bandicoot and Insomniac with Spyro. Then Insomniac and Naughty Dog led for PlayStation2 as well. And they are again the frontrunners for PlayStation3. Kind of funny :)

i've spent my childhood playing spyro 2 and crash bandicoot and i think they were the best moments i can remember! lot of laughts with my sister and my cousins.. we stayed in front of that ps1 days and nights, sometimes only for one level not completed.. i miss these moments.. hope, one day, i could buy them again..:)

Haha, I used to play this with my Grandma when I was 6 years old. She always forced me to complete the game 100% and it was so much fun that completing it 100% didnt feel like a chore. The sound of the thieves saying "Na Naa Na-Naa-Na" always feels awesome. If only they kept Spyro this classic over the years :(

@iHarrizC omg! my gma had like both of the spyro's on her play station one ( which i still have :p ) it's crazy to see how much they improved though. i just finished screaming at dawn of the dragon with my friend, lolz. it was a great ending. :3

Spyro hasn't improved atall in my eyes. The games are alright, but they arent spyro games anymore, you can barely call them platformers - sure, its awesome he can now fly, but wheres the platforming in that? there isnt any.

@toasterjoe70 dude YES! a remake of spyro sick new graphics, old characters, collecting statues, and of corse square button = CHARRGE!!! it could work very well. it may even be able to fit into the new ones. like the world got ripped apart in the last one, so colecting the statues puts it back together again. i want to fight the pumpkin boss again :P

ripto's rage and year of the dragon (even though i got them backwards timeline-wise) are my favorite ones. This reminds me how great they were to this very day. Some PS2 ones are okay, but they don't have the same charm and interesting idea that the PS1 ones had! :D

Oh how I loved this game.

It was called Gateway to Glimmer here in the UK, how I wanted to go there...

Every game series is like entering another universe, the bitter-sweet truth of the matter is we can never visit their domain. We can never cross the land of Tyria, nobody will ever know the beauty of a sunset watched from a balcony in Rabanastre, we can only dream.

@ZeeGanix565 Hi,if you got ps2 dont worry,you can play it too.I think your spyro is burned right ? If not download it and burn it.And then,wonce you donwnload it,block sensors of your ps2 (look for some video) and use a swap technik (use video too) and play it :) EASY .

OMG! I agree Crash Bandicoot 1 was so hard. I played it for the 1st time when I was about 6 and the puzzles and some enemies and especially the backtracking for boxes were very difficult

Yay got this game back yesterday with a new PS2 slim.

I really loved this as a kid 8 years old and right now I still love it 21 years old and I always laugh at the lines in this game, also introduced this game to my 11 year old lil brother and he says "This game is freaking amazeing especialy for a Playstation 1 game"

Most of todays games try to hard with graphics and HD bullshite but nothing can top the awesome 90's era of video gameing.
