If the Scania was repaired it would leave the saxo for dead. The scania has a severe problem with the fuel pump, ot the fuel rail. The pressure is far too high, so a lot of excess diesel is being injected - more than fits in each cylinder and can be used for the combustion cycle. The excess burs in the manifold, turbo, CAT, DPF, EGR etc producing thick black smoke and REDUCING performance. Just remember SMOKE=BROKE, that engine is way down on power due to the serious fault it has at the moment

What engine was in the saxo? biggest standard engine is a Vts 1.6 16v

Also, in some countries they're called as VTS and VTR, here in Portugal they are known as 1.4 VTS with 75whp and 1.6 CUP with 120whp (only engines we had)
