Illegal fireworks explode, causing injuries and deaths

A sparkler being compared to a gun? Really! Come on. My coffee or tee is very hot, enough to give 3rd degree burns. My 3 year old son knows what the word HOT means and not to touch it. When I tell him that something is hot, he's first reaction is not to touch it.

The truth is that the public is not educated in proper handling of 1.4g. Most don't understand that a low shot count cake that is taller than wider WILL tip over if it is not properly supported.

It's time to educate, not obviate.

You know, fireworks have been in existence for thousands of year. Irresponsible people are going to find some way to injure themselves whether it's through fireworks or alcohol.
